Nice hotel in the center of town.

We found the Olympia to be a clean, albeit basic, centrally located hotel at a good price. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge. We love the attached bedroom for our college aged son. The owners are very pleasant. The breakfast is pastries, oatmeal, bagels, juice and coffee. If you want protein, there is a breakfast restaurant right next door and a McDonald's down the road. We would definitely stay here again.

Gold experience

Very friendly helpful staff. Clean throughout. Needs a little up keep mechanically as sink drained slow and toilet didn't flush fully. Well maintained pool and hot tub. Great experience over all.

Inexpensive, large room in older building

Posted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: Inexpensive, large.
Cons: HDTV. Microwave and fridge. Continental breakfast was quite limited.
Location: Walk to restaurants, close to bus stops.
Limited TV - old tube type. Good wifi service. Quite clean, but very plain with serviceable furnishings

Clean and great customer service.

Cons: Our room had a bad odor (cat litter combined w/ smoke), the carpet was pretty old, so I think the smells were trapped there.
Location: The location is great - less than 10 minutes to the Winter Park base area, walking distance to shops and restaurants.
The Olympia Motel is a great little inn with an amazing customer service. The motel is pretty dated (rooms are circa late 80s), but it is clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were very clean and well-maintained and there is a simple continental breakfast included (coffee, juice, bagels).

Winter park lodge

Posted Mar 8, 2015
It's just a humble lodge, but we had a great time. Maybe we were lucky, but shuttle to village and skiing was easy. The shuttle does force you to walk past village shops. For families, there a lot of nearby activities including the park with communal sleds for little kids. Pool and hot tub to boot. We had a great weekend.

Don't prepay

Posted Feb 23, 2015
We had a huge storm in Colorado the day our reservation started and the hotel would not refund the money we paid even though many of the roads to get there were closed and it would have taken us 6 hours or so to get there instead of 1.5 hours.

Affordable and great stay

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Great service.
Location: Shops and restaurants
Nice homely motel in downtown Winter Park. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and shuttle buses bring you to the ski resort conveniently. Albert and Karol were also great hosts which made us feel very much at home. Would definitely recommend the Olympia.
