Mountain bike hotelPosted Jul 20, 2014
Staff was friendly, accommodating to mountain bikers. Clean and comfortable rooms. Rooms on the east side were noisy due to road traffic. Rooms we're were a little stuffy, windows had to be open all the time because of no air conditioning.

Ok hotelPosted Jul 12, 2014
Location: Winter Park Ski Resort
We stayed in the hotel in July after a day at the adventure park. The staff was nice while checking us in. When we walked into our room it smelled like maple syrup. We stayed in one with a kitchenette and we never did figure out where the smell was coming from. The room hasn't been renovated in a while so you have the typical peeling wall paper and carpet patching...( I am assuming that is from the dogs who are allowed here) The beds were a little mushy but ok. We were there in July and there is no air conditioning in the room so we roasted. The room had a fireplace that was emitting heat and we couldn't figure out why since it was turned off. The tv looks like they got it when they opened in the 80's and some of the furniture looks about the same. We wanted to swim but the pool is outdoors??? Why an outdoor pool at a ski resort? It was still a little too chilly in July to swim outside. We got a deal on the room with expedia but I wouldn't want to pay full price for any of the rooms here.

Great Location. This is the 5th time herePosted Jul 6, 2014
Cons: Interior update
Location: Close to Frazer and Grand Lake, Excellent eateries around town
Interior needs a major upgrade for the price they are charging. Friendly staff and the convenience to the gondola to downtown is great.. Pet friendly for a price.

Ghost TownPosted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub but, it looked awesome and had a beautiful view!
Cons: Everything I mentioned in paragraph one!
Location: Downtown Winter Park. Great food. Most notably, DENO'S. superb steak dinner with incredible wine list and very friendly staff. BellaVita spa; amazing!
No air conditioning or good ventilation. Lighting was terrible. Tiny old TV. Outlets were scare and not situated near table (which had NO light anyway!) or bedside outlets.

Friendliest staff, great locationPosted Mar 29, 2014
Pros: Location, staff, cleanliness.
Cons: Room service would be nice.
Location: Dog sledding, snowmobile rentals, tubing, ice skating, cross country skiing, snowboarding, hiking.
I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 short days. The staff was very helpful in locating, recommending and directing to various activities both on and off the resort. Erica at the front desk was always smiling and wishing us a great day. Clean and comfortable room. The gondola ride into base was not only fun and convenient but gave a beautiful view of park. More than enough free parking. The only thing missing was the ice skating pond, but that was closed due to the warmer weather but the front desk staff was quick to offer alternate locations to skate. I do not only recommend this hotel, but I can't get wait to get back!

Stuck on the IcePosted Mar 18, 2014
When I parked to check in at The Vintage, I didn't realize that I was parked on a sheet of ice. Could not move forward due to a parked vehicle, and definitely could not reverse because of the parking lot grade. The front desk staff had someone there to push me out of the bind in less than 10 minutes. Thank you!

Great ski in/out hotelPosted Mar 9, 2014
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The kitchenette had everything we needed and the room was a good size and very comfortable.
Cons: It would be nice during the winter months to have a plowed area to take the dog to. The restaurant staff was slow and hard to get a bill each night.
Very clean, friendly staff and it was dog friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Lots of stuff to do!Posted Mar 3, 2014
The Vintage is a utilitarian hotel- nothing fancy but with great access to Winter Park, the tubing hill, skating and swimming. My family had a ball.

Ski tripPosted Feb 17, 2014
Everything was vey nice, friendly ,clean ,comfortable. Would recommend opening the hot tub and sauna early morning say 6:30 am so we could loosen up. Also breakfast at the Inn would be convenient.

Cheapest hotel at winter park. Would stay again.Posted Feb 6, 2014
Comfortable enough. If you're there for the skiing, it's fine. Bar is okay, food mediocre, but has a hot tub, pool & sauna. A quick gondola ride from high prices. For romance, though, I'd be willing to pay more.
