Paper thin walls

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Location, parking, convenience.
Cons: Noise (see above)
Location: The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood. There is a beach a few blocks away (we were able to walk there).
My husband and I stayed at this hotel during a recent trip to Boston. The hotel itself is very conveniently located near the airport and has free parking, which seemed to be great selling points. However, the building is a former community center that was turned into a hotel. During the remodel it seems that insulation was not put into walls and floors. We were able to hear every step made on the hardwood floors above us as well as TV watching, walking, etc in rooms next to us. I was completely unable to sleep. I think what made it worse is that the ceilings are very tall as well which may have amplified the sounds.

Ok hotel close to airport

Hardwood floor nice. Good to have a kitchen , though a toaster would have been appreciated. Fold out sofa was comparable to lying on the floor. Limited shuttle times, only available upon check-in and check-out. Nice photo shopped picture of the hotel!

Large room, good location for airport

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Booked this hotel due to proximity to airport and good value. Room was great, good size, clean, but sofa bed not so comfy. Parking lot small but got next to last spot. Overall a convenient hotel I would recommend.

Convenient location from Logan Airport. Many restaurants nearby within walking distance as well as a small store that would make a sandwich for you if needed

nice safe area where you can walk and feel safe

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: area was near the beach & it felt relaxed there.
Cons: I think they should have a mirror outside of the bathroom so when 2 people are in the room one can makeup on while the other one is in the bathroom.
Location: we walked to some restaurants and drove about and there were alot more decent restauants
we could walk during the day or night. we walked to the beach to run.

A lodging facility clearly in need of a facelift. It was very old and the creaking bare hardwood floors were extremely noisy. The bedspread was very old and faded.

Great place for an extended stay.

Pros: Close to airport, courtesy shuttle, in a quiet neighborhood, friendly/courteous staff. Water pressure above average for a hotel!
Cons: The bathroom, while large, could use some counter space (no counter, just a small shelf below mirror). Could put more shelving in bathroom, too.
Location: Suburban, east of Boston. 1 block away from the beach, small stores nearby. Airport only 15 minutes away. Wasn't there long enough to really explore
The airport is located in a quiet suburban neighborhood, is only 15 minutes away from Boston Logan Airport. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was only there a short time (less than 12 hours!), so I didn't have a chance to check out the facilities, but the room was great, including a small kitchenette. There were 2 closets and a large bathroom. If I stayed in the area for several days, I would be happy to stay here again. They offer a courtesy shuttle to the airport that runs hourly from 4am to 11pm (just a note-you have to make a reservation for the shuttle, as the van seats 6). A taxi ride to/from the airport will run you $16 (a flat rate), and if you call their recommended taxi, they can pick you up at the airport (not sure what a general taxi ride would cost). My room had 1 queen bed, so I am not sure what the other rooms looked like. It was a good room for a single person or couple, would probably be tight for a family.

Was good with some disappointment

Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Fridge and small kitchen supply could be useful for people on vacation. Close beach.
Cons: Plumber 's job
Location: Nice homes, green area, close to beach
Generally speaking: it was worth the money, comparing to crazy prices in Boston. Positive: Receptionists were very friendly and helpful with good information on taxi and restaurants. Hotel was clean, room was pretty big and comfortable. Nearby coffee-shop was excellent . Negative: We hoped for shuttle bus, but flight was delayed and shuttle was not available after 10PM. Room was very cold, when we came. Bath tub had a bad drain, so while you take shower water stayed, which was unpleasant.

Disappointing experience

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: It had a good shower.
Cons: Heat in the room on an evening when the temperature outside was in the low to mid-50's. Replace the radio which only had one station.
Location: I wasn't there long enough to know.
The hotel is further from the airport than expected in an old neighborhood. It doesn't even look like a hotel from the street. When I reached my room at 8:00pm, the room temperature was very cool (about the same as outside, which was 59). Because it was early June, they shut off the heat, so there was no way to get warm. I slept in my clothes under the blanket and bedspread. I was also disappointed with the fact that the airport shuttle only ran on the hour. Since I needed to be at the airport by 7:00am, they told me I either needed to go at 6:00am or pay $16 for a taxi. This seemed unreasonable for a hotel that advertises that they have a free shuttle and are only 3 miles from the airport.

Poor maintenance and service

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I wonder
Location: waterfront good for walking and jogging
Apparently an extended stay hotel room is not serviced/ cleaned daily. For the price I paid (regular rate at other hotels) I would expect my bed to made daily, room cleaned and towels changed. The mattress/ bed creaks and I could also hear activities from the bed from floor above!!! The walls are so thin that the neighbors phone on silent mode could be heard in my room. Pick up "free" from airport are only between 4 am and 11 am and only hourly on request.
