Ok...Posted Sep 30, 2014
The children loved the water park, however the room was outdated and the towels had stains on them. The room rate was pretty expensive, but not at all worth it.

Stayed here many times..Posted Sep 25, 2014
Stayed here w my signif other for one night. Excited about the outdoor hot tub...it was nice.... Only problem is that it closed at 10pm. It would be nice if it was open until midnight for late night people who don't have kids. Other than that, nice hotel, comfy bed, no in room movies was a downer, I usually bring my own....indoor park for kids is awesome and competes w kalahari! Enjoy, u won't be disappointed!

Great Location, Mediocre Room, Expensive AmenitiesPosted Sep 16, 2014
My family loved the water park. Location is beautiful. The rest seems over-hyped. Ate at the restaurant (not the steak-house) - mistake! Room had a great balcony. But, visible mildew in shower just shouldn't happen at a resort that has to add a high-end resort tax to your bill. Beds were okay - towels were hard / rough - just really disappointed!

Time could have been better.Posted Sep 8, 2014
The room smelled like cat pee, and dirty wash rag. Also the hotel staff was cold and rude. We had a good time in the water parks but they where understaffed with lifeguards. We good to the Dell's at least 2 times a year, and will not be going back there.

Not a Good ValuePosted Sep 6, 2014
Pros: Both the indoor and outdoor water parks are good with a variety of attractions.
Cons: Attention to detail in the rooms.
The waterparks are great. The room was not worth the money. Mold & Mildew in the bathroom. Hair in the sink. Rod to secure the sliding glass door was broken. No ironing board or iron in room (empty racks where they used to be). There was an unpleasant odor in the room. When I called to get an extra pillow, they said there were none. We've stayed at several water park hotels, in and outside of the WI Dells, and this was the worste value of all. If you're going to charge people this kind of money for a room - it needs to be in order! Details count. This is an annual Labor Day tradition for us, but we won't be back to Chula Vista.

I would probably stay again. It wasn't the best I've Stayed at but it was nice. The girls at the front desk were nice..didn't eat breakfast there. The line was ridiculous.

ConvenientPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Well maintained. Several restaurants on site. Both an indoor and outdoor water park.
Staying at the resort made it easy for us and our grandchildren to take advantage of all aspects of the waterpark.
