Worst hotel I have ever seen!

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pros: There is not one single positive thing I could say!
Cons: This hotel should be closed down. Definitely not up to an Econo Lodge standard.
Old building that is not being kept up. Smells of smoke in all areas, carpet in room was wet all over, window locks were broken - and unsafe to stay in ground floor room. Front desk not helpful at all, and totally ignored me when I said we could not stay

Worst hotel ever

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Everything, especially new carpet
Location: Its located very close to downtown and all major highways
Thank god we booked online for the rate we got, others were checking in at a higher rate the hotel isnt worth the money. Hotel is very run down and filthy. Our toilet hadnt been flushed and was dirty and we had no towels. You had to wear shoes at all times because the carpet was filthy. Would never go back.

We did not receive any room service the entire time of our stay. I requested it and they said they were short staffed so I asked for some extra towels since ours were all dirty and was told they have none available

Bad experience

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Wrong room. Dirty room that had never been cleaned. Toilet had mold. No tissues. No toilet paper. No towels. No pillow cases. No working lights, had to use TV for a source of light. Sheets had brown/ red stains. Front desk staff was unpleasant and did not offer refund/upgrade. Horrible experience all around. Extremely disappointed. Waste of money that could have been better spent elsewhere.

Place needs help

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: The staff acted like they wanted to be helpful.. just no follow through
Cons: A ton of remodeling needs to be done and a good deep cleaning.
Location: Its located at a great spot in the Dells, close enough to walk uptown and not too far from the highway. All kinds of things to do around there.
The staff was nice, and accomidating. The hotel is very run down. Rooms are very damp and smell musty. We switched rooms because the first room smelt so bad. 2nd room was better, but not that great. We knew we wouldn't be spending a ton of time there anyway so we didnt try to switch again. We did not feel safe there at all. The outside doors had locks on them, but they were not used so anyone could come walking in. There were also groups of people hanging around outside the doors which made us very nervous. At one point someone went and asked them to move, but they didnt and no-one ever came back to enforce their leaving. The hair dryer didnt work, when I told them that it didnt work when we checked out he said he knew that. Not sure why it was still in there then. We had no wash clothes. I asked for some but we never recieved them, when I stopped at the desk I was told they were in the wash and we would get them later. They never came. The sheets seemed clean but were full of stains. We stayed multiple nights and our beds were never remaid and 2 of the days we had to go and ask for towels. It was also very noisey. Kids were running up and down the halls still at 2:00 am. The breakfasts were ok. Out of a lot of things -even at 7 in the morning. We didnt expect high class since the rate was one of the lower ones in the Dells during peak times, but we at least expected it to be clean and basics stocked.

Won't be my first choice...

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Staff didn't speak English very well. No towels in my room. The entire wing I stayed in smelt musty and of mildew. A/C was marginal. Basic material condition of the bathroom was ok, but the toilet seat was loose, the tissue roll holder was mia and the shower head was so low I had to squat to let it run on my shoulders. Bed was typical motel mattress. No fridge or microwave. Pool closed at 11:00, so I couldn't check it out. I got to the breakfast room about 10-15 min before it closed and there was nothing left. Other patrons asked the staff to bring more stuff, but they did not. Overall I was not pleased. I could have had the she experience sleeping in my car and saved the $60.
