Disappointed. First room and broken furniture, half of the water rides were shut down.

Check in was supposed to be at four but the system was down so had to wait around until seven to finally get our room. I felt like we should have been compensated somehow by the inconvenience. We never got our room cleaned either. On the plus side, the hotel was not busy and the water parks were perfect for our five kids under the age of ten.

Overall good time...perhaps the lifeguards can skim the pool while pacing back and forth looking bored. Personally I would rather swim with people than bugs...

Nice for a quick get away with the kids.Posted Jul 23, 2015
Overall, it was OK for the price. Check-in was a long wait time, due toproblems with other guest reservations. Several indoor & outdoor pools were closed for maintenance.

If you can't say something nice...Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Ehhh.... My kids had fun.
Location: This was a good stop en route from Green Bay to Baraboo, and that was the only reason we stopped in the Dells. Should have kept driving.
The outdoor pool was nice. The location was good. I'd LIKE to say something else polite, and I can't. Our first room was NOT clean. Our second room was cleanish, and by that point I was way too tired to complain. The beds were clean and for one night it was passable. I overlooked the previous occupants food in the fridge. *sigh* The mattress was slightly askew and I'm trying to forget the sight of the stained box spring. The front desk staff were nice but slo..o..o..o..w. One of the stair wells had been fouled, one of the security doors was broken, and our door didn't lock properly. We skipped the indoor waterpark because it didn't look very clean. Given the room rate and the trouble, having to pay another $14 for the resort fee was just more salt in the wound. I think it *wants* to be good. It probably was 15 years ago.

disaster from beginning to endPosted Jul 22, 2015
the front desk staff is not only rude but they have no idea what they are doing. We were not able to check in until way past 7:00 and night. the ceilings in the hall way are full of mold. My room was clean except for the empty shampoo bottles and hair in the tub. Pool closes way to early the tiki bars shut down if no one is using them. Check out was another disaster. I will never go back.

Rooms were outdated, hallway was dirty, entry door was open all day because lock was broken. Some of the water atractions for kids were close other areas were under construction.

Awful! The room was dirty, linen stained, mold in refrigerator and floor needed vacuuming.

Uncaring HotelPosted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: The rooms were large and the water park was great for young kids.
Cons: EVERYTHING. Rooms were dirty, carpet turned our feet black, beds uncomfortable, the sidewalks were not swept, so debris and tratrash was tracked in
I was disappointed in the hotel. Upon check in, we arrived at 5:30p, I stood in line with a dozen other guests waiting to check in. The Front desk was slow and seemed to be struggling- I even watched on girl step back and lean against the wall drinking soda-there was NO sense of urgency. The common story I was hearing as i chatted with other guests, was that rooms were not ready yet. I finally got to the desk after waiting 45min-and watching the employee take a little break, to hear the system was down and they could not check me in, at no point did I hear an apology for my wait, or an explanation called out as we all waited confused. The girl then got an attitude with me that they were busy. Another clerk stepped over and had me write down my phone number on my printed reservation and gave me water park passes until they called me. 3 hrs later-after I took my kids to dinner, i go and they told me they called and my number was disconnected (they called the wrong number.) The pools had debris floating Sat morning, no on cleaned them that day. but later i did see the guards skimming the bugs out. several pools were closed-not an issue but had standing-nasty water in the areas away from the drains. the patio off my room had trash and mulch not swept off the sidewalk. No one seemed to have a postive attitude of wanting to make things look nice.

Older hotelPosted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Location to freeway, not to downtown Dells, pretty far from Downtown Dells
Cons: GET MORE STAFF and get more cleaning personnel. They need to start sooner than Noon, to get people checked in by 4:00PM
Had to take this hotel, because others were already booked for time needed. Arrived at 3:45PM, check in was supposed to be 4:00PM, told room was not ready, give cell # and they will call when ready. Never received a call. Had to stand in line again to ask whether room was ready, and it was, no call tho. Shower curtains in bathroom smelled as bad as my sons basketball knee braces and let me telll youuu.... that's BAD. Older televisions. Airconditioning could not cool the room down, was 90 degrees outside plus and a humidity to almost match. Carpeting felt bad to the feet. Asked to have rooms together with team mates and told that it would be too much to get them together, booked solid for weekend. Pool bar closed at 7:00 PM every nite. they do not allow carry ins to the pool area. Pool water had leaf debris in it, granted, it rained the night before. Maid service did not show up until afternoon. Over all, it was a roof over our head and a bed, a very uncomfortable bed at that. I thought I was going to roll off the edge, it sank down on the edges. Sore back in the morning. No morning coffee. Although there was a small coffee maker in the room. People at the check in desk were polite, they just need more staffing here, not enough staff to keep up with all the clientele.
