New owners who want to sell timeshares to all the guests and noisy neighbors made the stay worse then the last time. Won't be back

Needs a facelift

Posted Sep 9, 2014
It's okay for a hotel to be old and show its age, but it's not okay to be dirty. They push the dirt around on the floor in the bathroom and left hair from the previous people bunched up in the corners. Not good!

Dells hotel close to expressway

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: pool and waterpark
Cons: update rooms clean better
I tried to get a room at the Super 8 and Baymont for a deal at $60 per night. They were booked, so I reserved a room at the Polynesian. I paid $110 so I thought it would be a nicer hotel than a Super 8. The pool and waterpark were very nice. The common areas were clean and friendly. The room (#174) looked like it belonged to a different hotel. It was fairly clean, but not incredibly clean. The TV, beds, pillows, and blankets were very old and outdated...beds not very comfortable. I do have to say though that the manager working on the morning of Sunday 9/7/14 was very helpful and deserves a pat on the back. When we checked out the day before, my son left a very sentimental blanket in the room. I realized it and called. She said they would look for it. We stopped in on our way back through and she had found it!! THANK YOU!

Run Down

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Close to freeway
Cons: renovate rooms, paint hotel and pool area's
Location: plenty to do within 2-10 min drive.
Hotel is run down and in need of updates. Room was clean, but had a bad damp odor to it. King size bed did not have a fitted matteress pad. Pool towels were tiny and worn. Not worth the amount they charge per room.

Polynesian Hotel Wisconsin Dells

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Would NOT stay here again! Very expensive for hotel! Many other hotels that are much nicer and up to date! The beds were absolutely terribly hard and uncomfortable! We waited in line for 25 minutes to check in. They only had 2 staff at the desk. Ridiculous!! 😠

Cheap hotel

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Cheapest thing with a decent size waterpark
Cons: update the hotel, wifi in rooms, and clean it to get rid of the cigarette smell
This hotel is a bit out dated and needs to be updated. Also they need to make it so the wifi is accessible in your room instead of in the lobby. The biggest thing about the hotel is the cigarette smell in the halls because this hotel people were able to smoke in it at one point because next to the elevators their are still ash trays hanging up.

Not many rooms available

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Knobs mia on ac and fridge. Only one room key card worked. Batteries missing tv remote. Duct tape on carpet in hallway. One lifeguard missed child in trouble until I pointed him out. Hotel clean but worn out. Grandson had a great time at pools so probably would stay again if not so expensive

Good Deal for the Dells

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Love the tropical theme. Rooms all have balconies which is awesome. For the price you pay the water park that is at the hotel is worth it and not crowded. Nice tiki hut bars. The water park is not like the wilderness or Kalahari but for 120 a night compared to 300 to 500 i think its worth it. Just got a day pass to the Kalahari or Noahs ark for a little more action.
