“Great condo stay”

I loved the place. I took my family to this location, after reading the reviews. It was wonderful. Looked like a brand new condo, no problems. Wish we could have been there for a week during the summer to take advantage of all of the activities this place has to offer. Very close to the downtown area. Beautiful Mirror Lake State Park down the road. Would highly recommend to any of my friends.

“Would stay again without a doubt”

Very nice and well kept place. MapQuest directions claimed 0.05 miles down Xanadu Rd when in reality it is probably 1.5 miles. We stopped and asked for directions and they said everybody stops there for the correct directions. Wal-Mart and Kohls nearby. Very quiet probably because you are a bit out of town and away from all of the tourist activities which we were not there for anyway. Probably well over 100 acres for the complex. We would stay again without a doubt.

Reasonable rates with all the comforts of home without all the hoopla of the Dells! Great place to stay!!!!!!!!

“A lot of Positives”

We only stayed here for one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were a lot of things to do the property, which was great. The only complaint we had was that there did not seem to be enough hot water for showers. Otherwise was a great stay.

“Awesome!”

We loved our stay at the Tamarack resort. The condo was very clean and spacious with 2 large bedrooms, 2 full baths, living room, kitchen, and patio. We were even able to set-up a queen-sized air-mattress in the kid's bedroom. There is a tv in both bedrooms and the living room too. There is a charcoal grill for each unit and a huge propane grill at the pool. The kitchen table seats 6, plus there are 2 bar stools at the counter. The main level has hardwood laminate flooring throughout. The bedroom decor was better decorated than the on-line pictures. There is a fireplace in the master bedroom and the living room. The kitchen is equiped with a four-burner electric stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, and coffee maker. The kids loved the heated outdoor pool. There are many amenities that were not listed on the website: There are 2 sand volleyball courts, 2 indoor tennis courts (also 2 outdoor ones), an indoor basketball hoop, horseshoe pit, paddle boats and bikes for rent, daily crafts (small cost) for the kids, a toddler playroom next to the exercise room, 2 computers w/internet in the activity ctr, and a racquetball court. There is a pond there, where some 20-30 ducks and about 100 small fish swim towards you when they see you, hoping for a free handout. The resort is very peaceful and relaxing, yet within walking distance to Walmart, Kohls, Home Depot, and McDonalds, and a 5 min. drive to the Dells. We absolutely loved our stay.

“Very Impressed”

We wanted a nice place to stay, just far enough but not too far from all the attractions. This place was wonderful it was a quiet area but was perfect distance from all attractions. The room was more than we expected and the amount of things to do just around the hotel was great. The staff was very nice and ready to help with whatever we needed. I will definitely stay here when I visit the dells again. Very Impressed !!!

“Some great, some bad”

We were very happy when we arrived at the Tamarack hotel. Our room was upgraded to a 2 story suite. We absolutely loved the quality of the room. The bad parts of our stay were; If you wanted to take a shower, it couldn't be any more 15min or the water would go cold. For some reason there were a bunch of little june bugs and lighting bugs that kept showing up inside the unit. Also we were there for the very first snowfall of the year, which wouldn't be a bad thing, if our unit wasnt the only unit that didnt get their sidewalk shoveled. It was weird standing at our front door looking around seeing everyone else's sidewalk cleared and seeing the 8inches of snow we had to walk through. Other then that it was a pleasant experience. We enjoyed playing indoor tennis in winter, and also used the very nice indoor pool. I would still recommend this location for future vacationers.

“Perfect Wisconsin Dells Getaway”

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Tamarack a Festiva Resort! We were impressed with the cleanliness of our unit, and the beautiful grounds surrounding the resort. We picked this resort due to its location. We didn't want to be right next door to all the Dell's attractions. While this resort is located in a more rural area, it is still a very short car ride to get to all the many attractions. Due to the shortness of our stay, we were unable to take advantage of any of the abundant amenities offered by this resort. They offer free paddle boats, nice pools, racquetball courts, a game room, daily organized activities, and many more. Depending on the location of the unit, it can be a very long walk to get to the activities though. This would be a wonderful resort to bring the whole family to and stay for a week! We wish we could have stayed longer, and will definitely stay here again when we return to the Dell's area. If looking for a more peaceful less touristy activity, I highly recommend checking out Mirror Lake State Park which is only a few minutes from the resort. It is a beautiful state park with hiking trails, a gorgeous lake, and boats available for rent.

“Good choice for Wisconsin Dells”

Convenient, inexpensive, clean, no Internet in the room though.
