“good for price”

Overall I was satisfied with my stay. I noticed a few things that the maintenance department could take care of pretty easily. My friends room, had no heat, but the ac worked all night and day, the ice machine on our floor was out of order, and some of the wallpaper in the hallways were peeling, but our room was clean, the carpet looked fairly new, and the sheets were clean, so that was nice. I did leave a tip for our maid service, whoever was in charge of the upkeep in our room, seemed as if they tried their best for it to look nice for us, they deserve credit for that. The front desk employee who checked us in and out was pleasant, and friendly, and tried his best to accomodate us, to the best of his ability. The breakfast was free, but a few more choices would be nice, maybe some bananas, and microwavable pancakes would be a good addition, and wouldnt take up much room, as the amount of space for a breakfast spread is limited. The employee in charge of stocking that area worked really hard to make it nice for everyone, even though people were grabbing things as soon as she got them on the shelf, it must have been hard on her to keep a smile on her face through all of that. Very nice woman!

“Bad directions inn”

The hotel is about what I had expected, for the money I paid. The people that worked there did not know how to get to the hotel from Boston, a neighboring town. One of the clerks gave me bad directions to Salem, another neighboring town. The clerks did not know how to get to Harvard.

“Saved by pool and surrounding mall”

We were 2 adults and 2 kids - they could not give us 2 room keys, only one. The indoor pool was a hit with the kids though, and the surrounding mall and shops/restaurants were convenient.

“Very convenient”

I really enjoyed the fact that it was close to stores and food. Unlike some other hotels that i have stayed at i didn't have to hunt for places to eat.

“absolutley disgusting!”

The room was filthy, from dirt on the floor, cigarette butts on the floor, mildew on the shower curtain and food crumbs on the counters. Someone also tried to break into the room. The staff at the front desk gave another person a key to my room and the person began banging on the door to break the lock. The continental breakfast thats offered is nothing but disgusting coffee, rotten cream and milk. The food looked old and rotten. The staff is rude, obnoxious and very unpleasant. This hotel should be shutt down. Absolutley disgusting!!

“Great Economy. Useful hotel and clean.”

This is a good hotel for the price. Friendly. Breakfast is basic, but OK again for the economy. we stayed for 8 days and would go back.

“Unsurprising”

Typical 2 star experience, overall. Towels were tiny and rough. Breakfast was disappointing...served only bagels, yet had only one toaster for the whole hotel. Plastic knives were so flimsy, they couldn't spread cream cheese, and paper plates were too small to hold the bagel! Orange juice was probably Tang. On the upside, parking is free, wireless internet is free, room was clean, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly.

“great location, poor breakfast”

We chose this hotel because it was near the train into boston, and has free breakfast and pool. The location is great. Train very convenient. Nice grocery store and restaurants close by. However, the breakfast was quite poor. Just coffee and some packaged pastries like you get from a vending machine. no eggs. no oatmeal or cereal. The pool was nice, but the heater was broken so the temperature was 68 (brrrr!) it has been like that for a while, and was not scheduled to be fixed any time soon. All the staff was very friendly.
