I went to Lubbock for my niece's graduation form Texas Tech. The hotel is not too far from the university, but a little on the outskirts of town. The hotel is in very good condition and the rooms are clean and nice. The staff was excellent. Everyone was nice and actually tried to anticipate our needs such as asking if we needed extra towels when the 4 of us checked in. Great place to stay.

I stayed here for work and the room was very neat and nice. Staff was very nice and the breakfast was great with a lot if choices was on the house too.. I will stay here again

The service was a joke. We waited over five minutes to check in, there was no one at the desk. Then, we were told that they only had a king room as opposed to the 2 queens we reserved. We asked for a rollaway cot and was told there was only one and the wheels were broken. They finally brought up the mattress. The second day of our stay, we asked for more towels and was told we could only have 2 per room. ( I later went by the front desk and got more towels) The trashcans were over flowing with trash the whole weekend we were there. The exercise equipment was not working, one of the plugs had the prongs gone. I really expected more from Holiday Inn Express! It felt like we were staying at a low class motel. Very disappointed!

Decent hotel except the room was not cleaned and no fresh towels the second day. Also, coffee was not kept up with the demand in the morning and had to wait for >10 minutes to get some.
