We had a nice stay! I was not pleased with the breakfast but the hotel was nice. The handle for the shower area was broken so it was difficult to get out at one point.

clean, modern, functional, very friendly staff ... the location is close to Potomac Mills Shopping Mall and the hotel is fairly new, rooms are spacious and comfy ... super fast wifi in rooms and lobby ... it was a pleasant stay and a nice experience ... it was the end of a 3 week vacation which we topped off with a big shopping frenzy ... so we very grateful for the roominess :-)

Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Fans are needed in the bathrooms.
Location: Potomac Mills for shopping
We stay at this hotel when in the area. Central to where we want to go.

New hotel

Very modern appeal in a relatively new setting. Hotel is tucked away behind a couple of other hotels. The only drawback I found was the limited parking. The staff was friendly but slightly under staffed upon check in. Room was a good size. Bed was comfortable.

Good hotel

The hotel was very nice and clean. A little difficult to find because it was slightly hidden behind two other hotels. But overall the hotel was good and I would stay again.

We were very pleased with the hotel. The location was a little difficult to find because it wasn't visible from the main street as the other hotels were, but once we went a little further we could see it. From there the location was great and easily accessible to all the things we needed. Very clean and comfortable.

Room was larger than average hotel We had two queens for 5 people so we used the sofa bed. Room was modern with its own thermostat even though it was not accurate. It said room was 78 and it was more like 73 in the room. Bathroom setup is strange, toilet and sink in one small room and shower and vanity sink in another. Sliding doors with opaque glass. The toilet one was very hard to open in our room. Contacted the desk two mornings on the issue. The second time seemed a little better but still twice as hard as the other door. Not much storage space. An armoir with two drawers and another in a unit in by the sofa/bed. Coffee make and microwave were new. Breakfast was the usual pastries, bread, waffle, yogurt (greek availabe) Most of the time they had scrambled eggs (a little rubbery tasting) and sausage patties. Sunday they had average tasting bacon instead of sausage. We had one breakfast there the first morning and had breakfast out on the last two days. It is little hard to find, located back away with two other hotels. Staff was professional and courteous. Hotel has under ground parking available accessible to the rooms by elevator which is very nice if it is raining. We were about 15 minutes from the trains into DC. Some say park in the Macy's garage for free and walk to train. After all the walking in DC, pay the $5 and park in the train lot. (Free on weekends) Macy garage is about 4 blocks away and if it is raining or humid it is a long 4 blocks.

Attention to little things.

my stay was ok. The room was nicely decorated. However,some lighting did not work,when flushing the toilet the water splashed up on to the seat,there was and odd odor in the room and the air conditioner had vibration sounds.All so the ice machine did not work. How ever the staff was very nice and even help me with directions.

Nice hotel

The pool was very small and needed a good cleaning on the sides but other then that was a great stay and they were willing to give us extra bedding and worked with us to sleep my family of 6 in one room

Excellent Hotel Stay

Stayed in the area just one night to see nearby Mount Vernon. Absolutely LOVED Spring Hill Suites. the rooms are huge and thoughtfully laid out so that the work area is partially separated from the sleeping area. a family of five could easily be comfortable in this room for days. Breakfast had a wide selection with bagels, cereal, oatmeal. yogurt, regular and decaf coffees, teas, and juices. The only complaint: powdered eggs!
