“Worst customer service, worst management, zero cleanliness!”
- I have pictures of the room with dirty chairs as a proof of poor cleanliness. - I waited two hours in the parking lot because i could not check in before 2PM. - The front desk was so mean and rude that i wondered how he got into the hotel business. - I was given a smoking room stinking tobacco and i had requested a non-smoking room. When i called the front desk to bring the issue up, and tell them how much of a health risk it was for me, they said they could not change the room because the request was based on availability. - After two hours with the windows opened, the smell did not go away and i booked another hotel elsewhere. As i was leaving, the front desk now suggested that they could change my room!!! - i contacted the management for a refund and they never got back to me!! London is a great city and trust me, there are many 2 stars and even 1 star hotels that are way better than this. - Expedia was great as always, and they took upon themselves to give me a complementary voucher, although it was all the hotel's fault.
“Fair price”
A fair value for money. 30 minutes from the nearest underground station and another 30 minutes by underground train to city center. There is a long time since the hotel was last time refurnished. Especially the bathroom tub, the toillet and the draintrap are old and need urgent replacement. Nevertheless, the hotel is clean and the old and used towels are daily changed. The only consumable provided is liquid soap and this is not confortable.
“Can't Wait to go Back”
I will gladly visit the Hotel again. However, the beds are small compared to regular bed.
“Comfortable,”
It was my first time in London, and I was a little bit worried about the distance, but at the end it wasn't difficult at all. The Staff was kind, the room was very clean the neighborhood is calm and secure and I like very much that the hotel is sorrounded by trees. I will definitely stay there again.
“Great accommodations for the price”
For the price, County Hotel Woodford was a great find. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service staff were friendly. Getting to London via bus and tube was relatively easy, but about an hour or travel time. Epping Forest was a nice reprieve from bustling London. I would definitely stay there again.
