Nice hotel for the price and central locationPosted Oct 27, 2013
Beds are firm, shower drains slowly but I'm sure that was just my room. No bugs no crazy noises and the staff is excellent. All in all I would stay there again.

Decent room for a decent price.Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: Clean, quiet. Pleasant staff.
Cons: More parking for trailers. Front desk staff more knowledgeable about directions and restaurants.
Location: El Charro Mexican restaurant: Best. Carnitas. Ever.
Clean, quiet place. DO NOT enter from the main entrance off of Main St in an RV or tall truck as there is a low overhang. Enter off the side street if you have a high profile rig. Had to cram our truck/horse trailer in a tiny parking spot when there was space available that "might" (and did not) be needed by incoming guests. No decent restaurants within close walking distance, but we needed to stretch after driving all day and the 10-15 min. walk into old town was fine.

Relatively Quiet Hotel for the Davis / Dixon AreaPosted Oct 13, 2013
Pros: Quiet location. Wifi very strong (room 201).
Cons: Bathroom needs decorating.
Location: Common Grounds Coffee on Main Street superb.
I have stayed in mulitple hotels in the Davis / Dixon area in the last 3 years. The biggest issue around I80 and I5 hotels is simply the excessive road noise at night. With construction on I80 keeping me awake I decided to try Woodland, and Americas Best Value on Main Street. I had concerns about the room standard before my stay but although the room (201) was tired in decor it was super quiet and the shower was really strong! I slept like a baby. I recommend Common Grounds Coffee just down the street for that crucial morning wake up, but this hotel was fine if you approach your stay with the right attitude.

Ok, not greatPosted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The remote didn't work & I will admit that I didn't call on it, as I was only staying 1 nite. The breakfast was a disappointment, I thought that I had seen on the internet that it had a wider range of offerings. A pre-packaged Danish, fruit & juice/coffee doesn't constitute a breakfast in my book.

No coffeemaker or tissues in room. Towels grey. Continental breakfast was a joke. One pot of coffee, orange juice (good), overripe bananas and cello wrapped cinnamon rolls. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Great value for budget travelers including familesPosted Jan 29, 2013
Pros: Beds comfortable with good heating system
Cons: Bathtub would need replacement soon.
Location: Center of town with plenty of eateries around.
Facility is a motel type, 2 floors drive in. Receptionist was pleasant and helpful with all questions. Room recently renovated with new carpet. Bathroom satisfactory. For the listing price, the value is good.
