I enjoyed my 2-night stay on business. Great location (near DuPont Circle), beautiful in the spring and summertime.

Great Vacation!

Posted May 29, 2015
Pros: In a word, Everything!
Cons: A happy hour with cheaper drink prices and food would be nice.
Location: Metro stop nearby, within walking distance to the National Cathedral, Zoo, Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan to name a few.
We have now stayed at the Omni two years in a row after staying in other hotels in the area several times. The Omni is, by far, the best place we've stayed. The staff is very professional and the hotel is well maintained. It's a place you don't want to leave. Very nice!

Prachtig hotel

Posted May 27, 2015

Great hotel!

The Omni is a great hotel to stay at. There are so many things to do without leaving the hotel. The view from the east wing was beautiful. The food is delicious, and the pool was refreshing. The hotel staff is very accommodating and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. I would definitely book another room.

Cons: The elevators. Sometimes we had to wait a while to get one going in our direction.
Great staff. Liked the location. It was close to the metro and restaurants. The rooms were comfortable.

Excellent location; great pool

Have stayed with family here before - very helpful staff, adjoining rooms great for kids, loved the pool, very convenient and close walk to restaurants, metro, etc. Only gripe - was the shapeless pillows - need to be replaced. Otherwise good hotel experience

Omni Shoreham Woodley Park Hotel

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Room, Bed, Lobby, Garden, Brunch, Balcony!
Cons: It was perfect for us.
Location: Open City, Cafe Soriso, Hot 'n Juicy Crawfish, Nearby Running Trail, National Zoo, Outdoor pool
Beautiful garden out back with a few hammocks, very good but a little pricey brunch buffet ($22.95/person), very spacious and clean room (deluxe king size disabled accessible version is what we had). Quiet, with a nice view of the area if you're up high enough. Small balconies on some of the rooms which is very nice. A pretty much perfect stay for us while we were there. There's also a nice running path that starts right next to the hotel which is at least 1.5-2 miles long (I turned around at 1.5ish) - Look for the steep downhill road and there is a path next to it which follows along a river and road. Nice area with food/brunch options and easy accessibility to the mall and other sights. Some nearby eating places we liked were: Cafe Soriso (Coffee, gelato, nice italian ish lunch/brunch, and bottomless mimosas for $12 only), Open City (Brunch, nice american fare and good beers on tap in a large space with indoor, outdoor, and bar seating), and Hot 'n Juicy Crawfish is supposed to be good but expect a wait - we never made it there. The zoo is also a 10ish minute walk away. We went Memorial Day Weekend and were able to book the place while it was a featured sale on Expedia which was also awesome.

Overnight stay for George Washington Univ. grad.

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Location; excellent service; décor; quality of dining
Location: Very close to George Washington University; DC mall with all its attractions
Excellent service at check-in; room very clean, spacious, & quiet; even on the 1st floor. Beautiful décor throughout; dining facilities peaceful; food excellent, as was the service. No opportunity to enjoy the facilities due to time constraints of graduation ceremonies. Staff was excellent at all levels; and most accommodating at check-out.

Omni Shoreham Hotel, Hidden charges.

Posted May 25, 2015
Pros: Clean
Cons: The hotel need to provide its guest and alternative to valet parking.
The Omni Shoreham only has valet parking, on no other options. When I arrived, I was informed that the hotel, would hold, besides accepting my payment for three nights, stay, they would hold and additional $150.00, which would be returned to my debit card, within days after my departure. However, upon my departure my bill stated that only $26.00. was due to me. When I questioned this bill to the staff at the desk, I was informed that they deducted a "Valet" charge for the three evenings I parked at the hotel. I consider this to be a hidden charge, due to the hotel having no other alterative to valet parking. For a hotel of this caliber, I consider this charge to be deceptive and unprofessional.
