This hotel is currently under remodeling construction, so there were a few inconveniences. I'm sure it will be better when it's done.

I enjoyed the friendly receptionist. She knows nothing about football but was willing to humor me as I talked about Bama!

The room we stayed in desperately needed to be renovated, however I believe they are in the middle of renovating. The breakfast was not very good. The night staff was very nice and pleasant. All in all it was just OK to stay a night, but I wouldn't stay any longer than that.

Reserved for 3. Room only had one bedPosted Jul 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
I reserved a room with king and sofa bed three months ahead of time. When we arrived after a 13 hour drive, we were told that the only room available had only one bed. It was me and my two sons,15 and 13. We spent one night in the room and fortunately hotels.com was able to get us another hotel for the remaining 4 nights. This hotel is very poorly manages and put us In a very bad spot. I was surprised and dismayed. We have stayed in Hampton Inns often and have never had this kind of experience.

According to the sign at the elevator, the property was under construction. it was badly in need of it. The room I stayed in had sticky carpets. There was paint spatter on the sofa. And rust on the light fixture in the bathroom. The water pressure was minimal. The AC unit had a thermostat but did not show the actual degrees that you were setting the unit. The hallways weren't air conditioned (or at least it didn't feel like it) and with the muggy weather made the time in the hallways uncomfortable. The signage in the elevator stated that sheets were changed out everyday. This was clearly not the case in the room I stayed in for 4 nights. And last but not least, there was only one waste basket in the entire room - in the bathroom, I think there should have been one in the actual bedroom too.
