Our guestrooms, toilets, and bathrooms are about 10 years old. They are cheap, cheerful, and clean. All our beds and bunks have commercially laundered crisp white sheets and blankets.

If you're flying in to Sydney, we offer an affordable airport transfer service from 5:30 am to 8:30 pm. Simply call us, using the information in the confirmation received after booking, once you've made your way through customs and we will send one of our drivers over to collect you. If you are staying 3 or more nights, airport shuttle is $5, if less than 3 nights the charge is $12. Transfers from the hostel to the airport are $12 each.

We have just opened Elephant Café & Bar. This is a fully licensed café serving very affordable food, beer, and wine for our backpacker guests and the local neighborhood.

We have $10 meal deals per night and new guests are offered discount vouchers for a breakfast or lunch.

Our café was a finalist in the City of Sydney's Casual Dining awards for 2011 - not bad after only 1 year!
