Staff was exceptionally Nice

Pros: Everyone I encountered on the staff from the day I walked in to the time I checked out. Kathy during check in was sugary sweet nice but in a good way
Cons: Breakfast Variety, Internet speed/security, Toilet functionality
Location: There's an excellent Italian restaurant/bar open early am till late right next door to the hotel. Otherwise, its about 30min from canton football HOF
The room itself was for the most part average. The room was clean and bed was comfy. The toilet had a slow flush however but that could have just been an issue with our unit. The internet isn't very fast and its completely insecure so that may help to explain why. Also, breakfast was a bit lacking, I could have used something more than just waffles, bagles, and doughnuts available to me, but free is free I guess. However all that being said, I would still rate this place a 4 because the staff is so friendly and so nice that it makes up for a few other small shortcomings around the place.

Pros: The staff were very nice and friendly.
Cons: As soon as we were leaving the maid ran down to the room to clean it but maybe they should take the time to shampoo or replace the carpets and drapes.
We stayed there for the price really, but we did expect at least clean carpets. I walked from the door to the bathroom in my new white socks and the bottoms of them looked like I had walked outside on the dirty sidewalks in them. Also the drapes have so many little holes in them that late at night when the lights are out you can see all the parking lot lights right thru them so the room is still lit up. Next time I will spend the extra money and stay some where more comfortable and clean.

We are very sorry to hear about carpet in your room, but we do clean room carpets periodically. Since this is an outside door hotel some carpets require clean quicker but we missed this one .Room you stayed in carpet has been cleaned and curtains are fixed, Please accept our sincere apology. Pros: Close to our son's home. Staff was excellent.
Cons: Breakfast bar could add a few items.
Convient place to stay in Wooster. Nice restraint next door.

small dumpy hotel with bad staff

Cons: everything
The hotel was bad from step one two story hotel with outside entry rooms only. There was a noisy bar next door too. The pool was not in same building and no hot tub or towels at the pool. The rooms were small. The breakfast was a joke. The hotel desk person in the morning was more worried about getting his coffee than being in the office to check people out. Wont stay here ever again.

Breakfast is continental and free. Also pool is in one of three buildings we have and we don't have hot tub neither we advertise . We are very sorry to hear that you were not pleased with your stay. As you seen we are an outside entrance hotel with standard size rooms just like any other economy hotel. Since we have three buildings, pool is located only in one building and we don't have hot tub neither we advertise. Breakfast is continental and free. Front desk does restock breakfast in early morning till rest of staff gets there but we will make sure front desk is covered. There is an italian restaurant next door and they do have nice patio/bar. Great place for price

I wasn't expecting much when I booked t his place because it was so cheap. But I was surprised. It was actually a nice place. Our room was small but very clean. The bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly. We did not use the pool or exercise room but we did look at it. The exercise room was very small, but indoor pool area was nice. the outdoor furniture needed to be replaced but other than that the place was not bad at all for the price.

This was a very relaxing stay. The service was outstanding. The price was very reasonable. Additionally, being right across the street from McDonald's was a plus for me. My son and I were visiting a college in Massillon.

Not travelling with the family on business, it was a fine room in a quiet spot of the hotel but close enough to where I needed to be the next morning and all the amenities required.

Great staff

I stayed with a group of teenagers for state competition and although the hotel is out in the middle of nowhere, Wooster is out in the middle of nowhere and has very few hotels. The hotel was just minutes away from the competition venues, while others had to travel from hotels in Akron or Canton. The staff was very nice, and because no one had hot water the morning of check-out, I received a $20.00 gas card. This shows me that the staff is really concerned about its patrons Yes, the lack of hot water was an inconvenience but it made for a great story to tell. Econolodge is not a luxury hotel but it was very clean and served the purpose. We were also able to go right down the road and eat at The Ugly Duck, which has fantastic food.
