“Nice room noisy heater”
We have stayed at the Best Western before. In the past, the hotel has been noisy becuase of the many kids who stay there over Thanksgiving weekend. This year there were no kids but the heater in our room was very noisy. Aside from that and the slow service for breakfast, the hotel was nice.
“Okay”
This hotel was probably nice 15 years ago. Stains on carpet, old tvs, aging bathrooms, chipping paint in the pool...but everything was CLEAN. We were in the hotel for 5 days and the maid service was great. We came back to a tidy room every night. They even arranged the kids' stuffed animals with the pillows which was adorable. The front desk was ok. There was no water for 8 hours to do a scheduled repair and the elevators were s...l...o...w. The gal at the desk was barely sympathetic and I saw her making faces at a guest over the phone. Also - breakfast is not free! And its a rip off...$9 a person for what would normally be free...powdered eggs, bagels, etc. But there are a 3 Dunkin' Donuts nearby.
“Best Western Marlborough”
Room : Fan in bathroom did not work; could not regulate heat/ac from controls. loud noise from heater all night long, Were we put in the furtherest room from everything because we booked through Expedia? Room situation was weird - 2 rooms behind a lone door which did not shut fully.
“Hotel was fine”
Nice hotel, especially for the $$.
“Disappointed”
The hotel rooms are outdated and are very much in need of updates like flat screen tvs, fresh paint, new carpetting, etc. The pool area was not well lit and the paint was chipping. The restuarant food was horrible. This hotel is stuck in the early 90's and it was quite simply disappointing!
“Very Dissatisfied”
The room was in very poor condition with wall paper loose, stains on the curtains and chairs, very aged furnishings and an iron that didn't work. I asked the front desk to replace the iron, but they did not.
“Best Western Royal Plaza - not recommended”
Upon arrival to hotel, the reservation specialist could not locate my booking, and afer 15 minutes, realized that when they had entered it into the computer, it was marked for September not October. I was listed as a NO-Show. Luckily I had my confirmation information from Expedia and there was an available room. However, the hotel room lacked anything to be desired. The carpet was stained, there was a section of the ceiling missing, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling from the walls and there was hair (of all types - you get my drift) on the bathroom floor. I was grossed out. And I was told by the front desk that there was not availability to switch as they were hosting a conference. I was thankful that I had packed flip-flops to walk about the room. I will not be staying there anymore.
“the bathroom was not clean”
near to interstate, easy to find
“An oldie but goodie!”
We enjoyed our stay and the convenience of nearby restaurants. It has been around for a while but still looks good. Enjoyed the pool.
“Adequate”
This hotel served our needs very well. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. Would stay here again. They could use more chairs in the lobby. Very large area but no place to sit.
