Nice location but....

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Location was easy for me to get to work.
Nice location but not much around the hotel to eat. I did not want to eat that mall food court. The meals they offered were nice. I would stay there again.

Basics done well

Stayed there for an event at NES so hotel location (across the street) was ideal. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant ( but did provide a buffet breakfast) or a bar but the room was clean, spacious and the staff (in spite of being fully booked) was responsive and polite. The small kitchen worked well for us as traveling with children often means waiting for over priced restaurant food that they don't even really like. Trade bar for more efficient and economical use of time and money and proximity to NES made for less time in the car!

Fantastic place in a great location next to a mall and shopping center. Love the pool and hot tub.

Residence Inn by Marriott Boston-Marlborough

Posted Oct 3, 2011 on Hotels.com
Chiose this as it was close enough to Boston and was a good price. Not disappointed at all , Room goog with separate bedroom area to sitting room / kitchenette. No oven in Kitchen but had 2 burners and microwave plus dishwasher (all utensils etc as well). Only downside was bed creaked a lot !(Have been used to Hapton Inn Beds that are superior. Excellent breakfast plus the added bonus of an evening meal Monday - Thursday that was complimentary. Bit of a long way around to get to Interstate 495 though 290 was easy . GPS got me there fine through a residential area. No safes in room but there are a dozen or so behind the reception area. Library area has a internet enable PC . Can be slow , but its free. Staff very helpful and friendly Pool is quite small but on par with normal Hotel Pools , Spa is VERY hot.

Pretty happy

Posted Jul 6, 2011 on Hotels.com
I recently stayed here for a night and rooms were as described except that hotels.com stated there were DVD players in there rooms and there was no DVD player in the room which is a downfall for anyone traveling for a length of time on business. Only other complaint was that there were a couple of spiders running around in the tub when i went to shower. Doesn't bother me but may bother others. Everything else was exceptional. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and professional, the bed was very comfortable, AC kept the room nice and cold and the room was very clean (except for previously mentioned spider) All in all it was a good place to stay, other then the no dvd player, which i could have used that night, everything else was fantastic...
