Loved the downstairs kitchen and recreational area ! Made it very comfortable to spend time with my family without being crowded into my room!

We didn't arrive until 3am and they were very gracious about getting out of bed and letting us in. Is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel although larger than most. Is in a neighborhood not busy area and very quiet. Walls are thick so you don't hear others in the halls etc. great place.

Nice building, bad service

Pros: The tray table for my laptop so I could sit in the comfortable chair instead of at the desk.
Cons: No response when I called the desk.
Location: Within walking distance of restaurants, shops and business district.
This reminded me of the small New England Inns of my childhood. There were nice touches such as a wooden tray table in the room, and a big "rec" room in the basement. Unfortunately, customer service was lacking. There were no drinking glasses in my room, and I couldn't get my clock/radio to work. For the first, I went down to the desk. After calling loudly and ringing the bell several times, I finally got a response. The maid was blamed, but I was given some plastic cups and shown where to find ice in the basement kitchen after I asked. For the radio, I tried calling, got a recording and left a message. I called again about an hour later, got the same recording, and left another message. After another hour, I went downstairs and yelled for help. The owner came upstairs and fixed the clock that had been disconnected. The next morning, I went downstairs for breakfast a little before 8 a.m., and I guess that it was self-serve, as I never saw anyone else there. I got my coffee and a sticky bun and took them back to my room as I didn't want to sit in the basement all by myself. I would still stay here again, but with the expectation of being a do-it-yourself stay. When I did see the owners, they were pleasant and chatty. They just need to be more aware of their guests.

From the reviews, my anticipation was heightened. Chintzy would be my overall comment. Breakfast,held in the basement, consisted of hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal. I expected hot, and served. This was self-serve. Room and adjoining bath we clean, but towels not hotel quality and surfaces tiny. Room was small, too. The one feather pillow was great.

This Inn was delightful. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. It is in a quiet neighborhood - no traffic noise and away from the crowded feeling of a hotel. The room was comfortable and spacious as was the bathroom. And, the price was fabulous for our stay. I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

Westborough Inn

I always love to stay at the Westborough Inn. The personal touch is always there. I almost always get the same room and feel like I'm home. It's convenient to shopping, restaurants and my local office. Morning breakfast is comfortable, you can go down in pj's if you want and grab a cup of coffee. Great selection!
