“Perfect base for Warwick”

A great hotel, I enjoyed my stay. Room perfect, staff very good, the only reason it got 4/5 and not 5/5 was the restaurant. My meal arrived cold, not many restaurant staff so service was slow. I stayed Easter Sun night 2008.

“Good value, especially for near Stratford upon Avon”

I guess you get what you pay for, but I felt I got a good deal for a single room on a Friday night in the summer. Stratford and surrounding area is expensive and there aren't that many choices. The hotel is comfortable and good, but my room was comparatively basic. Also, I was frustrated by not being able to find a parking spot late at night. But overall I was content with the deal.

“Charming hotel”

We really enjoyed our stay in the Salford Hall Hotel. Even though we paid bargain prices on Expedia we were given beautifully furnished large rooms in the main building. In the evening you can sit in big comfy sofas by the fire and drink wine from their extensive list. They also have a decent hotel restaurant. The simple but delicious breakfast was not included but good value. Staff was generelly very nice and friendly. It's an old building though, so don't expect perfection. They urgently need to sort out their showers, as the ones in the rooms occupied by our little group were either boiling hot, cold or didn't have enough pressure. We had a good time anyway, and would recommend the hotel.

“Use”

This is a very interesting hotel, lots of history. There isn't a lot nearby but it is in a pretty thatched village with a couple of pubs. On the whole a very quiet peaceful hotel. Handy to tour the Cotswolds.

“Nice Hotel shame about the noise”

Although the room was well furnished it was extremely noisey. Every sound from the room above could be heard in our room.The floorboards creak so badly that any movement in the room above disturbed us. The duvet didn't cover the bed and the pillows were of very poor quality and not fit for purpose. WIFI is advertised in all rooms but isn't available and the shower configeration makes it virtually impossible to get wet without holding the showerhead. Apart from that its a nice hotel
