Full-day and half-day Berkeley River cruises are available, led by our resident skipper. Choose from cruises and gorge hikes to Casuarina Falls, a cooling dip in the secluded waterholes of Berkeley Creek and the chance to spot native flora and fauna, from saltwater crocodiles to rock wallabies and birds of prey.
Most of our guided hikes are led by our resident nature enthusiast, providing an introduction to the trees, plants and wildlife that inhabit the dunes, grasslands, mangroves and creeks. Our three most popular hikes have been graded on recommended fitness levels. If you prefer to go out on your own, grab an ‘Essentials Backpack’ to explore the area at your own leisure.
Here, you have the opportunity to fish where only the privileged few have ever cast a line, with some locations so remote, they can only be reached by helicopter. What’s more, the incredible diversity of habitats offers the chance to chase an impressive array of species, from queen fish, threadfin salmon and mulloway to the elusive barramundi.
Feast on a picnic lunch, prepared by our renowned chef, beside secluded palm-fringed waterholes or the majestic Mount Casuarina.
Jump aboard our luxurious Bell 407 helicopter to venture beyond the four wheel drive tracks.Gaze in awe at the mighty King George and Mitchell Falls. Watch the sunrise above Mount Casuarina. Swim in crystal-clear rock pools untouched for hundreds of years. Or fish some of the remotest spots in the world.
BUSH & BEACH 4WD TOURS
Our 4WD tours take in sweeping ocean views, stunning rock formations and native wildlife in the early morning and late afternoon, when the colours, contrasts and surrounds are at their most spectacular.
Join Berkeley River’s amateur astronomer on a guided tour of the Kimberley night sky, viewing the constellations of Taurus, the Southern Cross and Hydra and learning about fascinating astronomical phenomena, from nebulae to black holes.
