Priced right and convenient.Posted Oct 26, 2014
Several other choices within sight or one exit but traveling alone I didn't need fancy. Better walk to cracker barrel or waffle house for breakfast but a different hotel at twice the price wouldn't have been any better for what I needed.

Okay for an overnight visit at a cheap pricePosted Oct 20, 2014
It definitely wasn't a 5-star restaurant, but for one night, it was okay. We wanted something inexpensive, where we could just lay our heads for the night, and it served the purpose intended. The floors need to be scrubbed. There were some stains on them. But, if you're just passing through and need somewhere just to sleep for the night, and don't want to spend an arm and a leg, this place is it.

Not the worst I've seenPosted Sep 15, 2014
Pros: Bed was comfortable and clean but I wasn't sure about the spider population behind the bed.
Cons: General Maintenance and Housekeeping
Location: Just an overnight stay.
Slightly below average. I'll start by saying the staff were very nice and professional. Check-in was easy and prompt. The facility looks ok from the outside but you can tell it's a little older. Inside the room; The headboard was partially detached from the wall. The carpet was wet (presumably from the AC wall unit not draining properly). There were spider webs all over the room (ceiling corners, TV furniture, behind the bed and nightstands). Some webs had what appeared to be pet hair from long ago guests. It was evident housekeeping was not very good. In the bathroom there was a used Band-Aid on the floor behind the door, water from a leaking toilet, exhaust fan hanging outside the hole, etc..... Essentially, the cleaning and maintenance staff need to do a better job and this would be a fine hotel. The furniture as previously stated was old, stained, but functional. The bed sheets and mattress were clean and the bed was comfortable which is really what mattered to me. The AC worked well and kept the room cool. Again, for a budget hotel and a brief overnight stay, this one is ok if you aren't concerned about details.

over all okPosted Sep 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was completely fine. I would think nothing of spending a week here. The problem we had was that there were only two girls to clean two large buildings and when we arrived (at 6:04 PM) our room hadn't been touched. Housekeeping was at the other end of the hall but as soon as she saw my grandmother standing there she came straight down there and apologized and cleaned our room. The perk to this was we were able to see how thoroughly they cleaned our room. They did great and moved quickly. The lady at the front desk was not very helpful and asked me to go somewhere else while I waited for them to clean. After the long day we had that was not something I was willing to do and she was not at all helpful. The good news is that the two girls from housekeeping were great and deserve some sort of fabulous bonus for what they had to deal with that weekend.

It is on the way to the great Smoky MountainPosted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: quite and near to resturant
Cons: Have two double beds room for three people
Location: near Highway 81 and resturant
We booked for three people. But when we were there, we were told there is only one full size bed. After I showed her the print out of the reservation, she made a couple calls and arranged someone to send a folding roll away bed.

Sleep close to interstatePosted Aug 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel looks like something from the 70's. The furniture is old, The decor is dark, it smells like some old grandmas house. Having said that, for an 8 hour stop to shower and sleep, right off the interstate- it is acceptable and economical.
