“Comfortable for a no frills weekend.”
It was fine for the purpose of a place to stay while visiting a college.
“Would definitely recommend to others”
I was extremely satisfied with my hotel stay at the Comfort Inn Max Meadows. The hotel was clean and decorated very nicely. There was a pay washer/dryer on my floor which was convenient. My daughter enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I don't know how old the hotel is but everything seemed quite new. I would definitely stay there again if I was passing through in the future.

“Max Meadows - Max Comfort”
Very nice hotel with all amenities. Reasonable location, but be sure to eat before you come unless Denny's or McDonald's is your thing. Good breakfast, clean room, plenty of hot water (3 women showering), free wifi. Overall good experience. Would stay again.
“"good enough"”
Good enough for a night's sleep but nothing special; extra clean, no view, not in great area. Had a pet and discovered that the smallest rooms close to elevator were reserved for "pet" occupants. Room seemed stripped of all but basics. Bed comfortable. In morning housekeeper knocks despite "do not disturb" sign on the door at 9am, saying that computers are down. Went because of a great review!
“Depends on the receptionist...”
My family and I booked 2 rooms on the way down to the beach and 2 more rooms on the way back. This hotel received mixed reviews, so we waited until we stayed on the way to the beach to re-book it. Our first stay was excellent. The receptionist was very friendly and booked us in a quiet part of the hotel with adjoining rooms. The receptionist saw that our room was booked through Expedia and said that we were all paid for. On the way back, we had a different receptionist. This one was not friendly at all. She asked us how we wanted to pay for the room. I told her it was booked through Expedia. She seemed to frown even more after that. I told her we had 2 rooms booked. She processed the first one, gave me the keys and started to walk away. My wife and 4 kids were standing right there when I told her that we needed 2 rooms. I asked for the second room and she asks "Do you want that room now?" What kind of question was that. She got us another room. The rooms were on the first floor on opposite sides of the hotel. My room smelled of mothballs and right outside was where all the air conditioners were and the trucks parked. The other room was better. Early in the morning, the trucks started beep-beep-beep while they backed up. I would not stay there again. With so many other choices in the area, choose somewhere else. I rarely have a hotel room problem and I am not a complainer, but this was so bad that I will probably never stay at another comfort inn again.
