While I was initially a little disappointed by the small and old hotel lobby, I changed my mind once I checked into my room. The view from my room was phenomenal. The bed was very comfortable, with special buckwheat pillows, and I slept very well during my stay. The bathroom also had a useful smart toilet. These two things—along with the friendly and helpful hotel manager, Mr. Li— made my stay at this hotel worthwhile.

The glass door for the bathroom is super heavy. Is design fault. I hate automatic toilet. The reception is small. Feels the place is not a five star hotel. Overpriced

Unbeatable view!
The Xiamen suite is spacious and has a direct view of Gulangyu. Location cannot be better! Huge deck (with a tub) where you can chill out. Mini bar is not stocked but you can order drinks via QR code and have your order delivered by a robot straight to your room! For such a nice suite the kitchen can be better equipped -- for example, there is nespresso machine but there is no capsules? No wine bottle openers or wine glasses either. The biggest problem is the bed -- it is sagging and badly needing to be replaced. But overall it is a very pleasant stay. Will be back.

Best in Xiamen
Awesome location. Next to many walkable restaurants, bars, and sites. Staff is great, rooms are really nice with views of the sea and the island. Only downfall is their outside patio. Small and limited service. Breakfast buffet is the best I have ever been to and that is saying allot! Best omelet I have ever eaten.

Cool hotel, near the main commercial street.
Nice boutique hotel right in the center of town. Great views of the neighboring island. Rooms are quite large, clean and have great design aspects. Staff is friendly and accommodating, but level of English is not too high.

Beatiful and modern hotel. Our room was huge and came with a view of Gulangyu Island. Our room was so high tech, the curtains opened and closed automatically. The bathroom was big as well. Hotel staff was very helpful. They called us taxis and gave us a late checkout. The front desk staff spoke great English. The breakfast buffet had a variety of food and a gorgeous view of Gulangyu Island. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Good place in Xiamen city
The hotel is in excellent location - near all. it's very clean and comfortable, but lack of bar/hooks in bath room for towels. all is good except the overly priced bottle water - sold for 20 Chinese yuan in hotel room which is only 1 or 2 Yuan if you but it outside of hotel.

The hotel is good for exploring the old town but you can hear the traffic outside. The air conditioning also makes funny noises. For the price and area u can stay here.

Great but be aware!
This hotel is very convenient to near by eating and walking areas. I will stay again in the future. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a harbor view. Unfortunately, our grown sons were placed in a windowless room that attracted smoke in the room when the electricity was turned off. Be aware of the windowless rooms - be sure to ask for a change. We only stayed one night otherwise I would have definitely asked for a different room for our boys.

Happy stay in Xiamen
This a great hotel. We arrived hot and tired after a long journey and were greeted with smiles and plum juice. Our room had a fantastic view over to GuLanYu and was calm and comfortable. Our only issue with the room was poor soundproofing, I think at the area of the windows. Breakfast was a great buffet and all the staff are friendly and efficient. This is an expensive hotel but you get a lot for your money. We had a great stay.

Amazing staff
I have to compliment the staff at the hotel . They were kind enough to help me sort out a local SIM card and a few orher small details which helped my visit. The room had a great view and was clean and very modern .

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Xiamen
We loved the hotel but the front desk staff were not very nice to us. We booked through hotel.com and the reservation said we had a king size bed. When we arrived the hotel said we had twin beds. After showing them the reservation they said to me "well you should really double check with the hotel and not believe the website". I was not happy. We ended up with a king bed and a beautiful room but the front desk staff left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be staying there again.

Convenient and close to city sights
My family very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the ferry to Gulangyu and the pedestrian shopping street. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. I've stayed at many hotels in China and I have to say this was one of the best hotels in terms of cleanliness, comfort and hotel staff helpfulness. You won't go wrong picking this hotel.

It's only walking distance to the famous Zhong Shan Road, which has many choices of foods and drinks. The view of looking at the Island is also stunning. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

整体挺不错的，对面就是鼓浪屿，就是酒店前台态度一般。没在酒店吃早饭，所以不太清楚。不过出酒店门就有一条步行街，各种小店不少，现在还有很多店再装修，估计后面会更加好一些
