Excellent hotel, spacious rooms
Lovely hotel with opulent public rooms, and spacious well appointed bedrooms. Situated a little outside the ancient city centre - about a twenty minute walk to the City South Gate. Food good - the buffet dinner in the Zhuque excellent. The CP staff were helpful, despite the language barrier - an English speaker was usually made available when needed. Concierges were particularly obliging. 51st floor bar worth a visit, especially at night. Highly recommended.

Good service
It was a very comfortable stay for our family trip. The front desk and the concierge was very helpful. The breakfast was great with a lot of good choices. Only problem is the pool is not the hotel managed facility, the water and towels are not clean and poorly maintained. It’s mainly the swim lesson program for the kids who are not staying at the hotel.

Disappointed stay
Strong stench in bathroom i was in..luckily i brought along a room spray.Hotel wanted an deposit of more than rmb500 per night for a 2 night stay. In earler hotel, they only needed rmb500 for stay of 2 nights. Location is not close to city center where attractions are.

Excellent Hotel

It was a nice stay. I did splurge on my hotel as there were many nice hotels in the area that were cheaper. The location was good but had to take a taxi to the bell tour and the wall. The staff spoke some English. Breakfast was very nice. The bar on the 51st floor had fantastic views and live music which was very enjoyable. Some things that didn’t impress me was when I asked for a taxi I was just told to go outside into the street and catch it myself. The taxi drivers had no idea where to take me as they spoke no English. This is something the staff could’ve helped with easily. At breakfast you have to ask for the coffee which is fine but I never got mine and had to ask another staff member. Little details but those are part of the experience when you are paying that much for a stay.

Great, modern new hotel with wonderful accommodations. Breakfast buffet were very good. Concierge staff was excellent in helping us navigate the local transportation system. Front desk staff (especially Ms. Zhou) was outstanding.

Nice hotel to visit Xian
I liked this hotel. Modern and comfortable. The staff are great. Check-in staff was lovely. The concierge and Bruce in particular are extremely polite, professional and helpful. Also really made a point to understand my situation. (I am traveling alone and wanted to visit the terracotta warriors without a posh car etc ... Just reasonable cost plus get to the airport on time). I really liked this hotel.

Excellent service! Would recommend this hotel!
The room was very nice and the amenities are excellent. The people are good and service is nice, and I have told them it was my husband’s birthday and they have prepared a cake in my room! What’s more, the house-keeping staff even made a hand written birthday note! That’s a very nice surprise. The only little thing that didn’t make our trip a straight five-star is there is no hot water one night for shower and didn’t know why the air con didn’t work quite well at night. All-in-all is a very good experience.

Pleasant hotel for the money.
Our room was very nice and had a very large closet. We were on a very high floor but the windows were very small, the only big window was actually in the bathroom.

we could not visit the terracotta warriors because my girlfriend was sick and had to go to the hospital. They gave her a detail to compensate this event. The were so kind and it was unforgettable for her.

Well located hotel with brilliant staff.
Staying in this hotel was a delight from start to finish. The staff were on hand to help out with whatever questions or issues we had, from our train tickets not turning up when they should have to questions about local places to eat. The breakfast was great and the pool was a great way to cool down after the Terracotta Warrior visit. I can't recommend this hotel enough. I'll certainly stay here again next time I'm in Xi'an!

Concierge staff saved our vacation
Great Hotel!!! Everything was wonderful including the room and buffet. But their Concierge staff was the best. Not only did they write our destination in Chinese when they got our taxi but Miles Zheng of the Concierge staff saved our vacation when China Southern airline canceled our flight the day of the flight. Miles was able to contact China Southern to book an alternate flight to our next destination.

Great overall. Breakfast offered western and eastern dishes and everything was incredibly clean. Even the lobby smelled of roses. One thing I'd like to see though is that any extra added beds be softer. I'm not accustomed to hard beds typical of Chinese residences and had to sleep on one as we had three people to a typically two person room.

Had a club room which was great, just thought the room could have been a little bigger and with some windows. Small window made the room feel a little claustrophobic. Receptionists in Club lounge were fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay.. BUT, one advice, avoid the restaurant on the 52nd floor, probably the worst I have been to in years if not my life.. All presented nice, but the food is bad, tasteless. We asked about the chef, he was French, I say was as he left about 1 year ago now Chinese are trying to cook Mediterranean cuisine,they have been trained how to present it well, but just don't know how to cook it or how it should taste.. I requested the reception to advise guests not to use it as it is so bad..

Wonderful, wonderful place to stay!
Our stay in Xian was made perfect by our stay in Crowne Plaza. Everyone was awesomely nice and helpful. We appreciated their ability to speak English very well. The manager even scolded our taxi driver who overcharged us and explained the situation to us. We will definitely be staying there again on our next trip to Xian. Thank you everyone.
