Bad service right next to a dairy farm.

Posted Mar 17, 2014
We stayed here because of the magic of basketball tournament. The staff was very slow, I had to wait at the front desk for 10 minutes before being waited on. The pool was very small and there wasn't any towels. The woman at the front desk asked me if I could come and get towels but I was soaking wet so obviously I couldn't. The room was clean enough, defiantly nothing special and as far as I'm concerned not worth the price. And the smell coming from the dairy farm next door was absolutely terrible. We also asked if we could have a late checkout due to a timing issue and I was told no, I've never had a problem at any other hotel with late checkout before. So all in all we were not pleased.

Quiet and comfortable

Posted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: Clean, conveniently located to the event we were attending
Cons: Less overt religious art
Our stay was mostly pleasant and enjoyable. The staff was courteous and friendly. There is overt religious art that we found offensive. The morning breakfast was good but coffee and other items ran out so plan on getting an early start! Also there are not many good restaurants nearby (ask the front desk clerk for a recommendation). Also the room rates were very high - perhaps because this is the best hotel around.

Pros: Big rooms

Just stayed one night. The staff was friendly and we were very happy with our room. It was large, clean and the beds were very comfortable.

"way too loud to sleep"

Posted Mar 25, 2013
The doors to this hotel are very thin as well as the windows and the noise was incredible. All night long people were running up and down the halls which made it impossible to sleep, there also were not enough blankets on the bed and the pillows were hard to sleep on. The breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean. I would not stay there again.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Posted Oct 20, 2012
Pros: The Bible verses on the wall.
Cons: The hot tub jets were not all working.
Location: Close to my family we visited and a great view.
We were greeted pleasantly and engaged in conversation. When we came back to our room the staff person asked us how our visit with my mom was. I especially like the bible verse on the wall and the poem in the room. As a Christian, this all made me feel at home. I thought we were only getting a king bed room and was pleasantly surprised by the mini suite. This gave us extra room to relax in. We will definitely stay here again.

Better than web pictures

Posted Jul 21, 2012
Pros: clean
Cons: website picture of hotel (hotel is really nicer than photo shows)
clean and nice...was pleasantly surprised when arrived at hotel since website showed pictures of back of hotel with grapes that did not look that attractive. Beautiful sunset with mountain views and nice hotel gounds! Nice and fast acting staff. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel in Sunnyside. Breakfast was suprisingly better than some hotels that are much more expensive. Would stay again.

The Grapevine Inn -- truly a home away from home -

Posted Jun 4, 2012
Pros: comfort and everything works
Location: great! a safe place to be and with a vineyard to gaze at only a few feet from your breakfast table!
Everything worked....key, air conditioning, coffee maker, shower, .. everything! Housekeepers were polite and non-intrusive. Food was excellent. Check in and out was easy and fast. Bed was comfy. Our relatives who had little ones enjoyed the pool. we have stayed at the Grapevine Inn before and our relatives, also, and won't stay anywhere else in the area.

Exceeded Expectations!

Posted Jun 1, 2012
Pros: Location, great free breakfast, free dinner every night
Location: Right off the freeway but not too close to it. Beautiful grounds.
This hotel was WONDERFUL! Convenient location, superb staff, beautiful grounds. We originally picked the location because the prosser location was booked and we were going to wine tasting in prosser. However, we will definitely stay at this hotel vs. the other one next time too. It was great!!!! Recommended to anyone!!! They go above and beyond for guests.
