Right on the River

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: Clean, great views and allows pets.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was overlooking the river, grounds were well maintained and breakfast was great. The hotel sits on a path that runs up and down the river for 10 miles.

Friendly and welcoming with clean rooms

Posted Apr 1, 2014
Very welcoming and friendly staff. There was a large group checking in ahead of us, so the front desk staff gave us drink tickets for the hotel bar and then came to find us when they were ready to finish the check in! Nice, clean, quiet rooms. There is also a paved walking trail along the river right outside the back. Plus the room had a microwave and mini fridge, and a secure sliding glass door that opened on to a patio. We will stay here again next time we are in Yakima.

Handy hotel on trip to Walla Walla.

Pros: See above.
Cons: House wines were just ok.
The extras of snacks, drinks, and breakfast were very nice. Our room was comfortable and clean. the location was right off the highway and handy.

Great place-horrible in room coffee

Posted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: Location and quality.
Cons: The coffee!!!!!!!
We stayed for 2 nights. Our kids and grandkids stayed 1. They were told the couch made into a bed, which they were counting on for one child, it did not. Morning breakfast was just okay. A little sparse. But the bad, horrible, terrible part was the in room coffee. The color of dirty water and the taste, worse than that. Tried it several times just to see if I could improve it, didn't happen. They should have the Tully's coffee they serve at breakfast in the rooms. The place is very nice and convenient to many locations. Will stay again...won't drink the coffee!

Green belt and river view

Posted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Comfortable, clean and convenient
Cons: We didn't have a "do not disturb" sign. Also, the coffee maker was pretty small for my consumption needs.
Location: Near the convention center and down town.
Not only was our room a home away from home, we had a lovely view next to the river. An open window allowed the river sounds to continue to relax me on my stay.

Great Hotel

Posted Jan 30, 2014
Pros: Indoor pool. Good breakfast. Large rooms w/dvd player
Location: Walking trail along river
I would recommend this hotel when staying in Yakima, WA. Brought my younger grand children and the indoor pool was comfortable for swimming during the winter. It was great to have a dvd player in the room. Clean and friendly employees. Great view of the river. Did not get to take advantage of the walking trail but if I happen to stay in a warmer month it will be nice.

Best Choice

We liked almost everything about the hotel and its services except for the liquid hand and shower soap and the almost constant need to re-log into the free wifi with every entry and shift from one site to another.
