Downtown easy freeway access

Posted May 14, 2015
Pros: Close to the freeway and quiet.
Location: Was close to the SunDome for a graduation we attended.
Just a quick night stay. No hot tub and the pool was cold--the pool must not be heated and there has not enough hot days yet to warm the water. The rate seemed a bit pricy for the accommodations, the availability of amenities and no free breakfast.

Old Run Down Hotel, Unattentive Staff

Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: Better than sleeping in my car
Cons: Everything
Location: Great downtown location. Many restaurants near by.
Opened the door to my non-smoking room. All I could smell was smoke from the last occupants. Called the desk for another room. They promised to call back after checking with house keeping. No call back. I knew the hotel was sold out for the Best in the West basketball tournament. No more time to wait. Unloaded my car and left for our first game. Returned that night and asked for extra towels. The desk said some would be delivered. None delivered and no explanations or apologies. The toilet had constantly running water. Very annoying. Based of last of service so far, we did not call to have it fixed. Figured no one would show up. The second night, the guests in the room directly above us decided to party until 4 AM or so. Very loud and kept waking us up. Do not recommend.

Nice, but not quite Red Lion standard

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Great location downtown and easy to find. Walking distance to eateries and bars
Cons: Attention to the overall condition of the grounds and building would improve the atmosphere. In winter season, there's no pool or hottub.
I was traveling with a small dog and needed to verify pet-friendly rooms were available (had previous issues with booking online and being told on check-in they had no pet friendly room vacancies. I went to the front desk prior to booking on Expedia to inquire and compare rates. Expedia was definitely a more economical option. The staff was friendly but not entirely switched-on and seemingly confused by the world around them. Several hours after check-in, I answered the room phone to barrage of questions "what's your name, First Name? Last Name? When did you check in?" I won't normally answer those sort of questions on the telephone, but certainly not without the caller identifying herself (the front desk). The room was clean and comfortable although the heater/AC unit was a bit noisy. The room was adequately furnished but the overall atmosphere was about 3/4 star below where I'd expect Red Lion to be.

Comfortable In-City hotel

Posted Apr 12, 2015
Good location & reasonable rate for being an outdated hotel in a competitive town with many other choices. The staff are what made my stay memorable & I would say it's one of the top reasons to stay there. Hotel itself needs renovation badly but it's comfortable & clean.

Great hotel to be in! Great location!

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Staff and room! The bed was sooo comfy. Like no joke, like sleeping on air. And I liked that we had an iron. All those mirrors in the room were cool:)
Cons: ??
Location: We were right next door at the Convention Center for a church event. This hotel was walking distance. There were A LOT of close by restaurants!
Right next to the convention center, that was great! the staff was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend it.
