Journeying in Jujuy is about seeking adventure, so why not jump in the car and uncover a few of the other population centers around Yala. If you have time, head 8 miles (13 kilometers) where you'll find Jujuy. Here you can visit the Plaza Belgrano and Casa de Gobierno.
Salta, is another good spot to head to. It is about 45 miles (72 kilometers) from Yala and offers a wide range of points of interest, such as San Bernando Convent, San Francisco Church and Convent and Salta Town Hall. Be sure not to rush back to Yala until you've spent a little time at Salta's El Gigante del Norte Stadium, February 20 Hill and Salta Cathedral.
Those who are well-travelled know that a good way to get the most from their journey is to prepare a few relevant words in the native language. Why not try using "¿Querría bailar conmigo?" The English translation of this phrase is "Would you like to dance with me?" You'll find that learning "Este caballero pagará por todo", which means "This gentleman will pay for everything", can really make you look good.
Before you return home, you'll be bidding Yala a sad Adiós (farewell).
