Jinzhong, is another interesting place to discover. It is about 45 miles (72 kilometers) from Yangquan and offers a great selection of visitor attractions, such as Pingyao City Walls, Wangjia Dayuan and Shuang Lin Temple. Make sure you don't head back to Yangquan until you've checked out Jinzhong's Mian Shan and Qiaojia Dayuan.
Experienced travelers have learned that the best way to get the most from any vacation is to pick up some practical words in the native language. An example of a hand local phrase is "Nǐ yào bú yào gēn wǒ tiàowǔ" (Would you like todance with me?). One more useful one is "Zhèiwèi xiānsheng huì qīngdān" (This gentleman/lady will pay for everything).
As your break finishes, bid Shanxi a teary "Zàijiàn"
