Disappointed

Posted Mar 10, 2015
Pros: The location we have friends that live across the street and it is close to shops and restaurants.
Cons: The staff.
Location: We went to the St. Pat's Day parade, Captain Parkers and the Christmas Tree Shop.
First of all I have stayed here several times and never had a problem until now. Upon arrival we checked in at the front desk and I asked for a room closer to the lobby/pool area and was told that I had to pay $40 to upgrade (the room was exactly like the one I had booked). Friday was pleasant and relaxing. Saturday night however we attempted to use the hot tub again but it was filled with children (who are not supposed to be in it). When I approached the front desk I was told that it was up to the parents to get them out and she would not go out and enforce the rule she was adamant and rude. When I relayed this information to a different woman later that day she said that she should have addressed the issue. I would also like my $40 credited to a future stay or refunded.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I went during the winter and I still enjoyed my stay at this time of the year. Even though it was wintertime, this hotel was still warm and cozy. I would stay there again. They have a bar/lounge above the pool area. The beds and pillows seemed clean and felt comfortable. The staff was helpful in making sure that guest needs were fulfilled. No one was a bother in sense of being overly hospitable either. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a nice, simple, relaxing stay in the Cape.

Clean but not a good place for work.

Hotel was clean but they had network problems that forced me to find another location to work. Wireless is a must have and they couldn't provide it.

Nothing special here, uncomfortable & lack luster

Posted Dec 11, 2014
Pros: The only positive thing was the location but there are plenty more hotels in the same are.
Cons: Lighting in the pool area at night. Beds.. get new ones!
Location: plenty of restaurants and beaches to visit
I really can't recommend this hotel when there are so many in the area, surely there are others that are more comfortable, cleaner and not so dated. the lights in the pool area were kept at an absolute minimum. When a pool area is open til 11:00 pm shouldn't ALL the lights be left ON in the pool area, not just 4 out of 10. The temperature of the hot tub was extremely hot. Way hotter than it should have been and when we asked at the desk to have it checked or lowered we were ignored. beds were uncomfortable. carpet was old and somewhat smelly. Sorry I cannot honestly say I would advise anyone stay here when there are so many other hotels in the area.

Cape Cod Motel

Posted Dec 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
We spent a night there, the room was dirty, the carpet and bathroom had hair from previous tenants. There was no real bathroom since the sink was placed in the hallway right at the entrance into the room, the bathroom and the tub were minuscule. There was no coffee maker, no microwave but we did have a small fridge under the sink, in the shoe area. The whole place hasn't been dusted in a while. The hotel had a faint smell of mold and musty. The pool was nice although.

great family friendly place

Pros: Everything, decent staff and great value
Location: The beach, restaurants, and shops along the way
The staff were very helpful and friendly it was a great value you felt like you got more for your money you were always safe and secure as well as entertained and delighted every second. The staff at the front desk moved us closer to the pool without us even asking because we mentioned we liked to go in the pool often. Overall a great vacation spot.
