"Perfection in paradise"
From the moment you arrive to departure everything is perfection and everyone is friendly and willing to do anything it takes to make your stay with them full of great memories. Reality of the resort is even better than the photos. Cannot recommend this enough the personal touches and the family feel is something to treasure that you just can never get from large resorts. This is the best place to go in fiji.

"Wonderful honeymoon on Yasawa!"
After several weeks of research (including reading a myriad of reviews), we decided to book our honeymoon at Yasawa Island Resort and Spa. What a wonderful place! After what seemed like an endless journey to get there (about 30 hours in total), we were met at the landing strip with fresh leis, fresh coconut water, and warm, friendly smiles! It was certainly a sight for sore eyes. Everything about the resort well exceeded our expectations. The bures were very open, airy, and comfortable, complete with your own beachfront hammock and chairs! The food was outstanding and fairly diverse in menu options (somewhat of a surprise given the relatively small size of the resort). There were great activities planned for every day that included trips to the local villages, snorkeling excursions, nature hikes, and an unforgettable trip to the famed Blue Lagoon... With that being said, there was no pressure to participate in any of these activities; you can do as little or as much as you please while on "Fiji time"! The beachfront spa was also absolutely wonderful and a must-do (tip: go with the spa package if doing more than one massage per person... It's a great deal!). The best part of Yasawa though are the wonderful people who work there and call the island home. No request was too much for them and was executed flawlessly. They truly do welcome you into the Yasawa family, and we miss them already! Vinaka Yasawa! We will absolutely be back! -Chad and Elizabeth

"Fab, relaxing getaway"
Beautiful small island which is perfect for some down time & relaxing. We had 6 nights on Barefoot & it was perfect for some snorkeling, kayaking, beach time & walks. The local workers are absolutely gorgeous & so friendly! We were able to see some manta ray whilst we were there which was pretty amazing! Evening volleyball with the locals was always fun too!

"Amazing 2 night stay"
This was my husband and my first trip to Fiji, and Manta Ray Island was our only stop along the Yasawa group of Islands. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely bring our family and friends here. We opted to stay in the Jungle Bure accommodation as this or the more expensive beach villas were the only ones with your own bathroom. The room was also about 100 metres or so away from the main area of the resort so it was much quieter. You pretty much have your own private part of the beach with this type of room. They had two lounge chairs on the beach for you to use as well as hammocks on either side of the room behind the beach which were fantastic. There was about 5-10 metres between the other rooms on either side which was great. There are lots of activities to choose from however the only one that didn't cost anything were the kayaks, everything else was not inclusive, which we felt was quite deceptive on the website as there is no mention of any prices for activities on it. This included snorkel gear. Also be careful if you are not going during Manta Ray season as they charge the same amount for the tour as they would during peak season, and after around 40 mins looking for it on the boat in the hot sun, we only managed to see a single one and only for about 20-30 seconds before it swam away. We were quite disappointed as we had planned to do the guided snorkelling tour however it was cxld as they did not have a boat to take us on. The food was great value!

"Our favourite stay!"
Staff were fantastic, we got to know everyone and had such a personal experience. Lots of entertainment and activities. buses are very nice and clean. Resort may not be as modern as some other resorts but I think it adds to its charm. Would definitely go back again, mostly to see the amazing staff!

"Beautiful Beach Experience"
The setting is gorgeous, the staff is delightful, the food is delicious. Neat and spacious bungalows surrounded by tropical gardens and just steps from the clearest blue water. The food is excellent, and that's an accomplishment when you think of the logistics of getting ingredients out there. Good mix of young and older travelers from all over the world. Singles, couples, families. Snorkel just steps into the water, but reef is badly damaged. Lots of fish anyway. Do cave tour.
