The rooms weren’t very clean, the sheet was coming off the mattress like it didn’t fit the mattress properly, there was only half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom from the previous person that stayed in the room and there was literally only two full sized bath towels in the room. I booked the room for 2 days, usually they are supposed to go in the room and clean the bathroom leave clean towel and toilet paper and stuff like that after the first day and no one ever did I had to go ask for a roll of toilet paper because like I said there was only half a roll of toilet paper in the room. Both the trash cans in the room were filthy no trash bags or anything.Over all the room and hotel looked nothing like the pictures and they look like they barely clean anything

Family only choice not good!!
I have been staying at this hotel for years but I’ve seen the decline in service and hotel amenities. Furnishings are old and there was no phone nor trash can in our suite. Previously they had happy hour and offered wine / beers / cookies / light snacks. Now, cookies are a hit and miss!! Also cleaning is hit and miss!!

We arrived on Saturday night around eight, and my wife noticed a loud noise coming from the air conditioner , also it took 2 remote controls to operate the television, so we changed rooms, the second room you couldn’t adjust the thermostat so we were on permanent cold air all night, other than that the breakfast and staff were excellent, very accommodating.

The bathroom wasn't quite clean that was mold around the tub there was hair in the tub and facial hair as if someone had been shaving under the rim of the sink in the bathroom

Train keeps you awake!
The biggest issue, and the hotel can't help this, is there is a train track directly across the street and it is a working track for cargo. At least 10 trains go past in a day, including the night and they blare their horns. We walked in the room and immediately saw dirt all over the tile floor but not a huge deal. The bed felt like it was broke and if you moved too much, it felt like it was going to fall. Our incoming light didn't work and even though we reported it twice no one came to change the bulb which was frustrating because our clothes were in the closet and we couldn't see. The internet is slow and for someone that needs it to work was a little frustrating. I have stayed at better Hamptons/Hiltons and I was just a little disappointed in this one. Breakfast was outstanding and the lady that runs it is named Ms Alice. She was awesome and very friendly. If you needed something she was on it!!

My shower had not been cleaned. There were atleast 10 long hairs stuck to the walls. There was soap scum from the previous persons bar of soap as well. I found another 5-7 of the same type of hair in the bed, INSIDE the sheets. I believe I may have gotten new pillow cases but the sheets were not changed. The bad news is this looks like its the nicest place to stay in Yazoo City.

When I went to check in the front desk person said my room isn’t ready because it is still dirty. She went to check and it was ready, but I booked a double room but was given a king. Alice who is over the breakfast did an amazing job with breakfast on Sunday morning!
