Functional Hotel.Posted Nov 22, 2011
Smart little hotel. Nice and clean, few crumbly places but overall condition was good, and bathroom was clean etc. Was disappointed there was no lounge or bar to socaialise in. Not a lot of English spoken.

Nice location friendly staffPosted Aug 9, 2011
The apartments are very cool. No cooking utensils provided so be aware of that. Beds were comfortable but if you have back problems there could be some issues there. Location is good. A mall and market are just right there in the next lot. Plus the metro, a bus stop, and a train stop are all under 100 feet from the hotel. It wasn't 5 star high end but good enough if you do not care about that sort of thing. Always had hot water. Really had no complaints if I go back I would stay there again.

Wonderful boutique hotel in the Yeakaterinburg downtown!Posted Jul 23, 2011
We absolutely loved Magister Hotel! The experience was wonderful! First of all, it is very conveniently located right next to the metro station, so getting there was a breeze. Then the Administrator at the reception desk was superb: polite, very accomodating! We got there 2 hours prior to check in and he did everything to get us into the room ASAP. Then the room - was quite large, with all of the necessary facilities plus few more perks: electric tea pot, hair dryer, large TV, FREE WI FI! the room was tastefully decorated with comfy bed, great office space. The bathroom was pretty large too, with a soaking bath tub. For the money - the value was much more we could ever ask for! Then the free breakfast the next day - never had such variety of foods in any other US or European hotel! Again super polite accomodating and attentive staff. At reception at checkout, the administrator (another man), was fantastic: he helped us with directions, with getting taxi cab and the hotel also allowed us to leave our bags unti 6 pm after 12 pm checkout since we had few more things to take care of in the city. Overall - super positive, wonderful experience! We will recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a budget-friendly conveninent hotel where guests are made feel right at home. At our next trip, definitely, will stay at the Magister!
