There is no parking available except on the street, and u must get up before 8am to pay parking meter.

We stayed there for 4 nights without cleaning our bedroom nobody offered us for room service. No toilet papers no trash bags dirty electric fan. Smelly bathroom. I paid almost $1,800 it’s not cheap and I don’t deserve this kind of treatment.

The hotel is located centrally in Yellowknife and close to different shops and restaurants. The hotel is in need of updating in the rooms, the lobby, the halls, etc. But, it’ll do for basic accommodations. The breakfast in the basement didn’t look very appealing. I skipped it beyond a cup of coffee in the morning.

The TV didn't work and no one came to fix it. There was a light bulb burned out. One of the light switches was "finneky" and needed to be played with to work. Lots of stains on the carpeting

This hotel is convenient and the front desk ladies could not be any sweeter. It was not a fancy hotel but it was serviceable.

Not answering the phone at the reception, breakfast containers are empty, waited 20 minutes to get some eggs, no late checkout, air-condition machine beside me room very noisy, no place to set in the lobby, marregwana smell all over the place, WiFi is weak, don't stay there ever

The front office staffs are quite friendly. The room is dated and kind of dark. Location is great as the tourist information center is in the same block as the hotel. Hotel's free breakfast need better choices and service definitely needs to be improved. I was there at 9am and there was hardly any food left. They had few pc of ham and eggs and 2 danishes. I told the worker to refill the food and she refused saying it will take her too much time to make it. I said there is another hour before breakfast ends and there are people coming. She is too lazy to do any work. It will be a better place if she is replaced by a better worker.

Without a major upgrade I would not return to this property. Rooms were super hot. Opening windows didn’t help. Breakfast was limited and some facilities were not available (eg fitness room) due to recent flooding. Would not recommend.

No-no in Yellowknife
Booked two rooms: one has water leaking toilet; another one has broken window and broken heating(when it was minus 26 degree celcius. We reported to the front desk but they can’t fix them and no room change. Breakfast is terrible and a lot of sketchy ppl nearby the building. The security folk tried to not let them in the building but they still hanging around.

The room was uncomfortably warm with no way to control the room's temperature (wall thermostat did not work). The fan on the wall made a consistent loud clicking noise so not possible to sleep through. As the week progressed, breakfast became less each day so that on the 4th morning there was no coffee, bread or pastries. Also no one around on any of the mornings replenshing or cleaning.

Our room was left in a very bad shape. The window was propped open, wires hanging out of the heater, garbage on the floor and food left overs as well. We also opened the closet and there was more garbage in there. Screaming and shouting inside and outside the hotel for parts of the night. We asked to have the room cleaned the first night, but sadly enough nothing happened. We had to ask again and part of it was done, still left over food on the floor. And the window is a huge concern were young children could just fall out.

Unfortunately this is a dirty property. From the time you enter right up to the room, it's not well kept at all. An aging property is fine (which this is) but dirty is never acceptable. Had to go to the front desk as even the toilet seat was dirty. Wouldn't stay here again and would recommend others to find alternate accommodations unless they step up their housekeeping and cleanliness in the general areas and hallways.
