nice, but noisy

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: location
Cons: quieter
Room was fine and location convenient, but since W Yellowstone is small and popular, there was always traffic noise. That's probably true of any lodging in town, unless you can get more than a few blocks off the main drag. Of course, there's not much else but the main drag.

Best deal for the price.

Posted May 23, 2015
Pros: The quality of the room, services and breakfast that was included in the price.
Location: The location was West Yellowstone, Montana. Yellowstone National Park was a very short drive from the hotel.
The hotel is an older one but is in good shape. Our ground floor room was very comfortable as were the beds which was a happy surprise. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The breakfast included in the price was one of the best we have had when traveling in the USA. We plan on returning to this hotel on our next visit to the area.

Great, great staff

Posted May 15, 2015
Pros: Staff was great, great breakfast, plenty of selection, fresh, hot and in a nice setting.
Cons: Clone it.
Location: In West Yellowstone, right at the entrance to the park, a zillion things to do.
Perhaps the best staff we have ever encounted in many years of travel. Spent time showing us the best places to visit in Yellowstone, helped us with a reservation issue and when we had a car problem were very understanding and helpful with the check out time. Super friendly just real nice people. Our room was great, clean and in excellent repair.

good location and easy access to town, YNP and sur

Posted Oct 4, 2013
Pros: great access, free breakfast and great location
Cons: Pretty noisy witht the stairs
Location: Whats not to like - yellowstone NP, fishing everwhere and a great little town.
The hotel was clean and nice overall. A bit dated in apearance and pricy but still a good value for the area. One thing we didnt care for was on the second floor anytime someone goes up or down the stairs it sounds like a herd of buffalo stomping on the floor. Other than that we enjoyed the stay and would choose this place again.

Do not stay at the Best Western Weston Inn

Posted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Correcting all the things listed above.
Location: Beautiful location, just outside Yellowstone National Park
Upon entering West Yellowstone, MT, we spotted 3 Best Westerns. This was the shabbiest of all. The lobby has barely enough overhead lighting to fill out paperwork, and had an odd burned-food odor. We asked for a lower level room and were informed that none were available, and we were the ONLY car in the parking lot! Our room had the same odd odor as the lobby; the carpet was stained, had numerous holes, and was fraying badly. The bathroom had a dirty towel hanging on the door; there was a discarded sugar package under the sink, and there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The volume on the TV would either get very loud or very soft--would not stay where you put it. The outside upper walkway has a tattered carpet, with the aluminum tack strip coming up, making it very hazardous. The hotel has about 100 rooms, and breakfast seating for about 30. No chance of eating unless you want to stand in line with your plate. And this horrible mess cost us $420.00 for two nights!!! Management knows they have the guests over a barrel due to the fact that this is just outside Yellowstone National Park, and nothing else is available! We will never stay there again, and are quite disappointed the Best Western allows this type of mess to represent their good name.
