Pros: The lodge motif.
Cons: More mature, personable staff.
Hotel was nice and had the appropriate atmosphere for the area, log building with mounted animals. Rooms were nice and breakfast was good. The Hotel clerk however was not friendly and did not make us feel welcome.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I am glad you enjoyed your stay with us. I do apologize for the unfriendly front desk clerk. Our front desk staff is the first impression of the hotel that guests see, so it is very important for them to be open and friendly. I hope you choose to stay with us if ever in the area again.

Nice hotel, but-surroundings were stark

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was excellent in variety and quality.
Cons: Beds could use an up grade-mattress stiff; pillows were flat
Location: Many restaurants and bars and near park entrance. Elk were around the front door to greet us.
We enjoyed the hotel which was near the Yellowstone park north entrance. Restaurant and bar on premises but overpriced and not of interest to us.

Solid hotel for a layover into Yellowstone

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Cons: The wifi was quite slow. An oddity -- the ice maker on the first floor was coin operated. The one on the 3rd floor was free.
We stayed here so we could get an early start on a pass through Yellowstone. The hotel was clean; the staff was very friendly. The breakfast fare was pretty typical and unimpressive, albeit workable. Overall it worked quite well for what we needed.

Amazing!!

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: everything
Location: in the heart of Gardiner, Mt just minutes from the North entrance to Yellowstone. Not much to do in the town itself but still a nice, small town.
My husband and I stayed 2 nights here so that we could be close to Yellowstone National Park. We don't normally pay that much for a room but we are sure glad that we did. We arrived after driving all day and the minute we pulled into the parking lot we were impressed! It isn't your typical Comfort Inn because it looks like a log cabin, and when you walk into the lobby you are surrounded by images of wildlife, etc. The Antler Pub & Grill upstairs is awesome with great food and atmosphere! We really hated to leave. We loved the room, the comfort, cleanliness and overall place! Definitely worth paying a little more for!

Location: Not much in gardiner except for Yellowstone
great location. my wife didn't like the breakfast area décor- covered with wildlife trophy mountings. Staff was very accommodating when we had to cancel part of our stay due to the government shutdown of the park

Beautiful lobby, Nice breakfast items

Posted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: Staff, breakfast, price
Location: Close to Yellowstone NP.
The animals on the walls were impressive. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was small ok but we had a wheel chair that left no room for moving around. Not handicapped accessible. Breakfast had many items to choose from. Beds comfortable rooms very clean. Over all nice stay.

Great location!

Pros: Great location! Elk were in the front yard!
This hotel was a great hotel, reasonably priced especially being at the north entrance of Yellowstone! Fun little town, we only stayed there one night, wished we would have stayed there both nights at the park but not ever having been to Yellowstone I booked another hotel in a different location but wasn't as satisfied as we were here!

Nice hotel close to Yellowstone.

Cons: Wish there had at least been a hot tub since there's no pool.
Location: Very few good restaurants, but, of course, we enjoyed Yellowstone.
Enjoyed our two nights there. Very close to Yellowstone. Décor of common area interesting with lots of preserved wildlife.
