I stayed at Elk Country Inn for two nights and it was a great decision! My entire experience from check-in through check-out was perfect, including friendly staff and a very comfortable room. I only have one piece of constructive feedback and that's that the interior of the building I stayed in (Rm # 4000's) is very dated and can use some new carpet and accessory furniture (chairs/table). The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable and the shower pressure and temp were perfect. I look forward to coming back!

Pros: location to downtown. Cons: there were many. First, the heater was very noisy and would not shut off even after I turned the entire unit off. With the loud fan, it was hard to sleep, especially with hot air blowing over the bed. Second, I was disappointed at the tiny size of the TV, and worse, it did not support streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, etc. I travel extensively and have not come across a reputable hotel that does not support streaming. Third, and most importantly, my room was super noisy. It was noisy from people and traffic coming in from the street, and it was noisy with footsteps and pounding upstairs all day and night. Lastly, there is collected ice on the path from the lobby to the sidewalk where my room was - this is a safety issue for slips and falls. For what they're charging for the room, it doesn't make sense to cut here.

The property is very nice, with a newly renovated lobby and pool/hot tub area. Our room (triple queen with loft) has not been recently renovated, but other rooms have been. Bus to Jackson Hole Ski Area is very convenient.

I had an enjoyable stay. The rooms, especially the restrooms, are a little updated. The television needs to be updated as well. I did love the location and the amenities. I would recommend, and I will stay again.

We stayed in one of the rustic little cottages. The cottage was well supplied with a everything you need for preparing a small meal. You won’t need to cook breakfast though because they offer a great, warm breakfast every morning. I definitely suggest this for a family or group of friends. Hot tubs (both indoor and outdoor) are great.

This place was great! Close to the resort, downtown and eating places. Breakfast was great. The pool room was great for adults not swimming but sitting by the fireplace and still being a part of the group. The room was comfortable and warm. Plenty of room to spread out. Will stay again.

The hotel was great. Nice rooms, great pool, good breakfast. The only downside was the hotel section I stayed had no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up and down stairs. Otherwise great place.

The cabins were so cute and comfortable. The property is right outside the town square and is very walkable. Shuttles are offered making everything convenient.

Clean rooms, good breakfast and coffee. Helpful staff. Convenient ski shuttle to/from Jackson Hole resort. Ample parking. Walking distance to great restaurants and JH central square. A great affordable motel option.
