Good value for the money

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Loved the location - shops and restaurants within walking. Great thick comforters on the bed.
Cons: I prefer to stay at a place with its own restaurant/bar on site, but like I said they were real close.
Location: Ski, shop - hot springs just a short drive.
This hotel is a great value for the money. I was not there for skiing so wasn't looking for something closer to the slopes.

Pros: Convenient to slopes without paying high price. Lovely comfortable decor. Pretty Hot Tube area. Everything exceptionally clean & well cared for.
Cons: Keep doing more of the same!
Location: Lone Peak Brewery is nearby. Loved their Oatmeal Stout. Big Sky wonderful, large ski mountain.
Great Value, friendly staff, beautiful interior, quiet. We stayed 3 nights.

Attractive Lodge in Big Sky

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: The lobby made you want to sit and enjoy.
Cons: No elevator. We had been traveling for days. My husband had been ill, and I wouldn't recommend the stairs for handicapped guests.
Location: Walking distance to shops and restaurants. A short drive to the ski resort. A pleasant drive from Yellowstone.
I made reservations for 4 couples to spend one night in Big Sky, mostly because we were unable to get anything in Yellowstone. On a whim, I decided we would drive up to WY. I booked online without knowing anything about the area or the hotel. I was afraid my friends would not like it. We were delightfully surprised. The ride up from Yellowstone was lovely; we were a few minutes drive from the ski resort; while not new, the lodge was well appointed and quite comfortable.

Vacation central rest

The Big Sky area was the only area that had available rooms, we were vacationing Yellowstone National Park. River Rock Lodge was an excellent choice. When we checked in Becky was very helpful, choices for dinner for our two night stay. Becky also helped us with our luggage, the Lodge does not have an elevator.
