Central hotel close to Yellowstone Park entrancePosted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Overall it was a good solid place to stay.
Cons: Rooms could be updated but that's minor. Fridge in the room had a really loud buzz - could not find the plug to turn it off.
Location: Close to shops and restaurants.
Good overall hotel, nice room although the layout was a little strange - was a little old fashioned and could do with a renovation. Continental breakfast with a good variety including a waffle maker and hot chocolate. Loved all the stuff animals but might not be to everyones taste! Easy to walk to anywhere in town to get food and lots of food options. Two minute drive from Yellowstone Park and the visitors centre - pop in there before you go into the park as the Rangers give great information of what too see especially with a limited time frame.

Great atmosphere and good value for moneyPosted May 22, 2015
Pros: We liked the stuffed animals and wood staircase, historic fireplace and good breakfast attendant.
Cons: Not needing a room deposit with debit card payment.
Stage Coach Inn is especially good as a jumping-off point for being able to go the different parts of Yellowstone each day. The desk personnel excelled in being friendly and knowledgeable about the roads and animals and restaurants. The Inn has a lot of rustic charm and the accomodations are fine. Overall very friendly and kind---you felt like you were with family.

Passing through to YellowstonePosted May 19, 2015
Pros: convenience and cleanliness
Location: Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance and the park enterance is 1/2 mile away
Very good nights sleep and the hotel breakfast was adequate. Wish we had paid for extra nights here and travelled into the park each day rather than pay the high price in Yellowstone as plenty of choice for eating and shopping in the town. The hotel has been updated since our last stay and is very much improved having a swimming pool. fitness center and more tables at breakfast. No hesitation in recommending this hotel really good value.

Past its primePosted May 19, 2015
Pros: Not a lot.
Cons: The whole hotel needs updating, but the scratched paintwork and dowdy fittings in the bathrooms require urgent attention.
Location: Yellowstone National Park. The drive from West Yellowstone to Butte via Ennis is absolutely spectacular.
Upon arrival we were told that our room was not yet available and were invited to sit in the foyer. Finally at about 5.00pm one of the room maids told us that or room was now ready. The room was no more than adequate and the bathroom was extremely tired in appearance. The menagerie of stuffed animals in the foyer was typical of the character of this establishment - "Good 'Ol Yallerstone"

Classic lodge in the center of town.Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Location, staff, size of rooms, amenities (laundry, fitness center, pool.)
We were traveling with 2 dogs as part of a 6 week RV trip through the Western States and needed a hotel night. The Stage Coach Inn gave us a king room on the ground floor near the lobby, gym, pool and laundry, with a convenient rear exit to walk the dogs. The facility is a bit aged, but the people are very nice and the location is excellent--everything is within a block or two. We will definitely stay here again.
