Fantastic Place to stay!

Posted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Everything!
We booked this hotel as a one night stop whilst visiting Yellowstone. From the minute we checked in we wished we were staying longer! We booked a two bedroom suite, it was huge, and had all of the home comforts you need after a long day in the park. Free wifi and Direct TV was an unexpected bonus, and the location was prefect - within minutes of the North Entrance and all local amenities. Very reasonably priced.

nice and clean hotel

Pros: Tripadvisor
My family of three stayed in a king room with a full kitchen for two nights. It was a great experience. The room was updated and extremely clean. Highly recommended for family that would like to do a little own cooking

Gorgeous and comfortable at entrance Yellowstone

Posted Aug 25, 2013
Location: 3 minute drive from Roosevelt Arch at north entrance to Yellowstone, convenient to grocery store
Terrific staff that gave us fishing tips. Very well decorated (room 106) with oil rubbed bronze fixtures and gorgeous tile. Was nice to have wifi connection, ability to do laundry, and grocery store a 1 minute walk so could cook own meals. Elk and deer were in the adjacent yards in the evening. This was perfect for our family with an 8 and 10 year-old. We could even borrow DVDs from the office for the kids to watch in the evening.

Very close to Yellowstone North Entrance

Posted Jul 15, 2013
Pros: Hotel staff and kitchen in room
Cons: Would be great if there was an outdoor pool available for the kids.
Location: Very close to Yellowstone North Entrance.
This was exactly what we needed since we spent 99% of our time in Yellowstone during our stay. Kitchen worked great for our family of 5 where we just needed a place to grab a bite to eat when we were too exhausted to dine out. Restaurants in the area are very limited, but sufficient. Would be great if the hotel had a pool. The hotel staff was superb and very accommodating.

Short overnight stay (9 p.m.-7 a.m.) Updated, very clean, manager escorted us to room, very friendly and informative. Unsure of other facilities available. Would definitely recommend.

Wish I had booked this hotel for more than 1 night

Posted Jul 1, 2013
Pros: EVERYTHING! After 3 days in the usual hotel room or Yellowstone cabin, this was just like home.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: The hotel is just outside the north entrance to Yellowstone NP.
We booked a 2BR suite for the 3rd day of our 3 days spent in the Yellowstone area. I wish we had booked our entire stay here! The kitchen was equal to many condos we have stayed in on the Florida Gulf coast. The appliances and kitchen equipment, supplies were all very clean and quite nice. The living room was large with a large flat screen and DirectTV. The suite was very well and comfortably furnished; decor was very nice. We especially liked the "front yard" with a bench and view of the mountains in Yellowstone---perfect place for an evening glass of wine or morning cup of coffee. The bathroom was supplied with luxurious toiletries, and the kitchen had coffee, sugar, etc. I don't know how long since this hotel was built, but the remodeling makes everything seem like new. The proprietor, Mike, was a very nice guy and obviously wants to make his guests happy. We left 3 of our hoodies on the hook behind the front door (word of caution...if you use those hooks, please be sure to check before you leave!), and we called Mike when we realized it (300 miles away in Montana), and he replied, "No problem, we've got them, and we'll get them right out to you."
