Good hotel, decent price

I've stayed at Hotel Reginah four separate times. The staff are wonderful: friendly and helpful. They are always ready to assist in any way. Nothing is too much trouble! Republic Square in the center of Yerevan is just a few minutes away by taxi (which is very cheap). I have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Reginah.

Great view of Yerevan and Mount Ararat

Posted Sep 29, 2011
The hotel was more than adequate for our needs. Initially we were put in a poor room with no view and a bad smell, we were quickly moved and although we didn't get a balcony we had a much larger room which didn't smell! Staff were great and there is a fantastic money changing machine in the lobby - it accepts GB£ so no need to get US$ before coming to Armenia. The walk up from Yerevan will definitely keep you fit - a steep 300m climb. During the day we had the pool to ourselves (beware the Explore etc tour groups you have to share the hotel with!) and the sunset view of Mount Ararat from one of the lobby balconies was stupendous. Fantastic local kebab shop down the road if you fancy the night in drinking Armenian wine and enjoying a kebab. And breakfast is served till 11am so what more could anyone want!

Hotell Regineh - verdens beste service

Posted Apr 27, 2011 on Hotels.com

Hotel Regineh in Yerevan - too far away

Posted Mar 10, 2011 on Hotels.com
The address listed for this hotel must be wrong. When entered in Google Maps it appears to be located next to Hrazdan Stadium. Turns out it isn't. The hotel will be found on Nork-Marash clear on the other side of town. Not cool to expect a location and find it's not where it was supposed to be. Room was fair, but shower ran out of hot water too fast, and shower head would not stay attached. Water "throbbed" from shower through hot and cold with and without pressure. Because of the far away location, I ended up paying more in taxi fare each day, hardly worth the savings in nightly rate. The online listing says they have internet connections in each room. They don't, it's a lie. There is ONE wifi hotspot in the lobby and I ended up spending most of my time sitting in the lobby till 3am working on projects. It would have been much better if I could have done that work from comfort of my room.
