Second stay, and still great.Posted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: A most beautiful night view over the multi-coloured twinkling lights of Yokohama alone, made this room exceptional value.
Cons: The carpet had a few minor stains, but nothing else could be faulted.
Location: A great location in a clean modern area of Yokohama. A short walk to Minatomirai station for easy access to local attractions and Tokyo.
A friendly and efficient welcome again for myself and six-year-old daughter. The room was adequately large, comfortable and well appointed - although not brand new.

Wonderful Yokohama ExperiencePosted Jun 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed for five evenings at this hotel and I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is at the heart of the "upscale" part of Yokohama, and is one block away from the metro station which can take you to any part in Yokohama for a very affordable rate. The staff are wonderful, very respectful and will go out of their way to make you comfortable. I wanted to walk out and it was raining so I asked the staff at the gate if they know a place where I can buy an umbrella. They immidiately gave me one plus the instructions to the places I wanted to visit. The food at their differnt restaurants is amazing. I tried the lobster at the Italian restaurant, and the set menu in their Frensh restaurants and they were both amazing meals. Few blocks away, there is the Porter Building which contains wonderful restaurants that you will definitely enjoy. I loved the sushi conveyor restaurant and the Hawaii corner. There is also a lot of restaurants in the Red Brick building, particularly the seafood buffet, really amazing...

Looks nothing like the pictures, very outdatedPosted Jun 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
I've been to Yokohama before and wanted to stay on the water this time. I had heard this hotel was excellent. After looking at the website the hotel looked beautiful. I booked the superior deluxe room. The lobby of the hotel looked nice and I was excited to get to the room. Well, the room looks like an 80's Florida room. Blue and yellow themed with flowers. Carpet was blue and stains were everywhere. Room was large with a nice view. Subway was about a 10 minute walk, there is a mall and amusement park across the street. Decent location. I will most likely not stay here again.

TOP SERVICE but BAD INTERNET & MOBILE RECEPTIONPosted May 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
I've stayed at this hotel several times already within the past year and their service always top notch. They are always smiling and eager to help out with just about any need you may. The hotel itself is not bad at all. The room was very comfortable. The only issue--and this a rather big issue if your business depends on thiss--is the connectivity of their internet service (both wireless and LAN cable) and the reception for mobile phones. It took a long time to download my documents because of the speed of the internet while my phone calls dropped during every phone call I had. I guess the higher the floor you're staying, the more likely it is you'll have bad phone and internet connectivity. Other than this, overall hotel service is excellent.

Pros: pleasant service
Cons: Water was chargeable. No free water. I found this highly un-Japanese hospitality
Long check-in queue, but pleasant and quick, hotel over-looking the bay very nice fascinating view.
