“Everything about the hotel was perfect except for the front desk male receptionist who a bit rude”

Our stay was short but sweet. The hotel was very clean and spacious. Would stay again while visitin Angels Camp.

“Nice and Clean Hotel”

It is a Nice and Clean Hotel. But the location is not so good. Too far away from Yosemite Valley.

“Nice and clean”

Good for family with kids cause they have a pool, hot tub and gym. A few retail store and fast food, local eatery are just good enough for a short trip.

“Awesome place for large family including pet.”

The two room suite we stayed in was huge and very close to pool and breakfast. Was only expecting 2 Queen beds and a sofa bed so we were pleasantly surprised to find a 3rd Queen bed in the second room. There were six of us so made it very comfy. Also pet friendly, very reasonable fee for our dog to stay and they have a pet station in the parking lot if you forgot cleanup bags. Close to attractions (about an hour from Bear Valley), restaurants, shopping, and main road. It's hard finding nice places for a large family so this is on our "remember list". Definitely stay here again.

Area recommendations
Angels Camp Museum is right around the corner and worth the visit if you have a couple hours to spare. Although there is some outdoor walking to go from one building to another, and a few outdoor things to check out, most of it is indoors so if the weather isn't great you can still have a fun time here if you are into Gold Rush History. Very friendly folks work here and will give you lots of info on the area. Great for kids of all ages.
Outdoors or beach
We took the kids to Bear Valley to play in the snow at the Sno-Park nearby. We had fun but parking was packed so we had to wait for someone to leave to get a spot. Fortunately we arrived around lunch time so we didn't have to wait long for someone to leave. If you are going to stay at the Sno-Parks get there early and make sure you purchase a day pass on-line before you get there. Much easier than trying to find someplace to buy one nearby and there is a big fine if you don't have one.

“Happy, well rested, well fed skiers”

We we're very pleased with our experience at this hotel. It was family friendly and the continental breakfast was just what we needed before hitting the slopes at Bear Valley. It is 50 miles from the ski area but worth the drive. It was a very nice facility and the clerk on duty was very nice and helpful. We would stay there again and would recommend it to our friends.

Area recommendations
Downtown Angel's camp was small but nice and we enjoyed walking the main street and shopping. There was a non-profit Mercantile store that sold art, ice cream and lunch that was very nice and the help was very pleasant.
Dining
Rodz Diner was a nice, family friendly place to eat. The food was average but the menu covered a lot of ground; everything from burgers to steak and a large selection of desserts. The salad bar left something to be desired but we were happy with our choice overall. The children's menu was good and the help was very pleasant. We would dine there again.

“Great place to say: close to the snow, but not too high”

We enjoyed our say at the Cedar Inn Suites. The room was spacious and clean. The location is close to the snow, but the altitude is reasonably low (no headache in the morning).

“Not going back.....”

I had stayed at this hotel once before with no issues, however, the second time nothing was right. I tried to check in 30 minutes early but was told that my room wasn't ready yet. So I waited till 3:00 p.m. (check-in time) and was given the keys to what I thought was my room. Turns out the keys I was given where to the wrong room that did not include the amenities that I was paying for. I went back to the front desk and they said that they had given me the wrong keys and so they gave me another set to my actual room. When I went to make sure they had given me the right keys they where still cleaning the room. I waited another 30 minutes for them to finish the room and couldn't even sit by the pool because it was closed. Needless to say I will not be going back. It is absolutly not worth the cost.
