Yosemite Trip

Posted Oct 24, 2014
This place was about an hr from park which is not bad considering it takes 30min to leave the forest. But everything was really good. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. I got bf voucher to restaurant for hot meal. Could the hot tub be warmer or internet faster, sure. But all in all 2 thumbs up!

Great Place to Spend the Night

Posted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: beds, price, pet-friendly
Cons: quieter air conditioner or a/c that has fan-only function
Location: It's located out of town and didn't seem to have any activity in the immediate neighborhood, but there is a restaurant on grounds and a nice footpath.
This is a pet-friendly hotel! There is even a very nice path you can use to take dogs for a walk. They even provide poop bags! Additionally, the beds were very comfortable. All the amenities, shower, refrigerator, tv, etc., were of good quality. The air conditioner did make too much noise as it turned off and on, so we just opened our door a bit and had plenty of fresh air all night. The price of the room was very reasonable, especially considering that a decent breakfast was included at the restaurant, which is part of the hotel complex. We had a pretty good dinner there too. All in all, it's a great place to spend the night. We'd definitely stay there again.

Hotel was great. The restaurant attached to the hotel was good with nice choice of menu and great service..all without the need to get back in the car. Happy to recommend

Place was. Ice and clean, though a little run down. To be expected though for such a good price. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Restaurant

Pros: Location was convenient
Cons: The food
Location: Didn't do anything near by - was just passing through.
Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the standard of food. I ordered Mediterranean Chicken. It looked like chicken, but it certainly didn't taste like chicken. In fact it was bland and tasteless with a texture that was not like the chicken I usually eat. The choice for breakfast was also limited and unhealthy. If you want my business in the future, you will have to make considerable changes to the food you serve. There needs to be more organic, free-range, pastured meats free from GMO, antibiotics, herbicides, pesticides. More fresh fruit and less of the typical Western diet, which is making us all sick and overweight.

Pleasant hotel

Used as a base for Yosemite, although 75 miles away the journey was a fantastic scenic drive that took a steady 2 hours, but don't let this put you off, highly recommended. Restaurant on site was reasonably priced and served a good cooked breakfast with a good choice for evening meals.

Great location!

This hotel was great! It had a restaurant next door that served a delicious free cooked to order breakfast. We had dinner te night we arrived and that was good too! The pool was a plus for the kids. Close to activities like Columbia State Historic Park, Jamestown, and the caverns.

Close to whitewater rafting

Pros: Everything for the most part.
Cons: Leave the bar open later
Everything was great but what bar closes before 9:00pm? Convenient, great breakfast, clean room, a place to smoke, and very comfortable.
