“As expected”
My expectations about this hotel based on fellow Expedia travellers were 100% matched. It is a good hotel with a nice location, 45min drive from Yosemite. Clean and functioning rooms. And the usual plastic breakfast...
“nice stay in Mariposa”
very clean, very quiet, nicely furnished, friendly staff
“Housekeeping below standards”
This is your average, run of the mill, inn room a little bit high priced due to it's location close to Yosemite. The problem is in the keeping of the room. We had a problem with the toilet: water was not filling the reservoir. We left for the park at about 8:30 AM and we told the front desk about the problem. When we arrived at 06:00 PM it was not fixed. I went to the clerk at front desk and she said that her shift had begun at 3:00 PM and nobody told her anything about it. Then she looked in a notebook and confirmed there was a mention about it; she came to the room and after trying something herself she said that they would have to call a plumber but that it would not be possible at that hour! Well, 9:30 hours had passed and not a single plumber was on duty?! Then she showed us a scheme by which we had to repeatedly close and open a valve on the floor so as to make the thing work, and that should be repeated for each and every flushing of the toilet, until they could fix it the next day!

“yosemite hotel”
Not that close to Yosemite but for half the price. If you want to do some seriuos hiking you better stay closer to yosemite, you will loose too much time going back and forth (2 hr roundtrip)
“Great for Yosemite Visitors”
Arrived at the hotel extremely late, but the desk clerk was cheerful and well prepared and we were checked-in within 5 minutes. The hotel is somewhat off by itself relative to food and shopping, but as a sleeping spot after visiting Yosemite National Park it is perfect. We didn't sample the continental breakfast, and the TV options are limited, but the pool and spa were welcome for relaxation after driving through the park(s). The next time we visit Yosemite we will definitely stay here again.
“Not impressed”
Carpet was very dirty . Sofa in reception area was filthy. Bed and bathroom was clean. I would definitely never stay there again.
