Good!

Posted Aug 1, 2015
Close to park entrance! First time they gave me a really bad room, in the dark corner without any view, after negotiating with employee, why I booked several months, but the worst room I got, they changed a better room for us. A upgrade one!

Good for large families

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Cons: They need a much better wifi system. Also the price for wifi is only for one device rather than a password that the entire family can share.
Location: Note that is no cell service in the area and the Wifi is only for email and web pages.
Stayed one night before visiting Yosemite. Would have been very convenient if the road to Yosemite has not been closed due to a rock slide. The rooms were nice and plenty of space for family of 6 in the 2 Queen suite.

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pros:

One of the closest hotels to the Yosemite valley

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Great staff and unbelievably incredible location.
Cons: Eventually they will fix the road from Mariposa to the hotel, but it could be years! That is not the fault of the hotel. A little noisy with kids.
Location: 30 minutes to Yosemite Valley, 45 minutes to Glacier Point overlook. If that is not enough, Sequoia is 3 hours away.
We stayed three nights at the hotel. Everything was great on the arrival, the rooms were spacious (King size beds), and we were able to park directly in front of the rooms. The people upstairs were a bit noisy at 5:15 am, and I would recommend a room not facing the road if you are not going to run the AC or heater in the morning due to traffic to the park at 5:30 am to see the sunrise. The buffet breakfast is pretty good, but the place can be crowded during a rush. Don't expect four star hotel accommodations, but it would be comfortable for most people. Rooms are up to date in terms of care, and the staff is excellent. If you goal is to be able to make phone calls and do business while you are on PTO, this is not the place. If you goal is to relax, browse the web at night, and truly enjoy the park scenery, this is the place.

Overall, location and lodge is good. Would choose again as we only stayed over night; would recommend electing handicap facilities to be installed for guests as needed.

The hotel was ok

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Good location
Cons: New beds
Location: Close to Yosemite.
The rooms were ok. Clean room & bathroom. The double beds were old and very uncomfortable. They dipped in the middle. No breakfast with hotel. I wouldn't stay there again.

Close to everything in Yosemite Valley.

We stayed two nights in this excellent little motel near Yosemite Valley. A hidden gem is the river front grills, picnic tables and swimming hole.
