Housekeeping needed

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Offers of different things to participate in.
Location: The motel was along the Merced River. There was a walk down by the river.
Trash from previous occupants had not been emptied. There were fruit flies on the ceiling. There was very little space to hang your clothing and there was space for 8 people to sleep. Other than that the room was very nice.

Close to the park, nice and clean

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Very close to the park. Room is nice and clean. Restaurant is good. On your way to the park, there is a gas station before the park entrance.
Cons: There is no cell phone signal in hotel area, and you have to pay extra for WIFI.
Overall it is a very good experience for our family. Will stay here again for our next visit to Yosemite Park.

Pros: Clean & comfortable. Nice gift shop
Cons: Grill & bar needs more staffing and streamlining to accommodate busy weekends.
Location: 20 minutes to Yosemite gate
Really enjoyed the indoor pool & spa - in February! Nice, natural grounds with cute carved bears everywhere.

Very nice - you must see for yourself

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Very clean, helpful staff, quiet location, the staff was helpful, you can go across the hotel to a small picnic area next to the river.
Cons: no internet, but you are not going to Yosemite to surf the internet are you?
Location: Yosemite is gorgeous, as usual. I went in feb 2015 and weather was perfect. Merced river, right across the hotel is also beautiful.
We booked this hotel in February 2015. I had a good time, and this hotel met all my needs. The rooms were cleaned and well organized.

Excellent location and great price

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: It was fairly close to Yosemite entrance, there was plenty of sleeping accommodations for my large family
This hotel didn't disappoint. It was very close to the entrance of Yosemite and after a long day of sight seeing and hiking it was nice room to put our heads down to sleep. I have a large family and it's always hard to find hotels that don't charge and arm and a leg or don't allow us there. I reserved the room with two queens and a sleeper sofa and it was perfect for our family with 4 kids. The check-in was very fast and the front desk employees were nice and efficient. The room was clean. There was a small refrigerator there too which was also a plus. I would definitely recommend it and would gladly go back when ever we are back to Yosemite. The only thing "I" overlooked was the indoor pool which my kids would have really enjoyed if we had been prepared.

Nice location, poor wifi service

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Cons: Wifi connection.
Checked in Valentines day to find out there was no phone reception, $10 per phone for a 24 hour wifi connection. Rooms seemed dirty and had to go upstairs when we requested a down stair room.

Ok place to stay at lower price close to the Park

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Clean and tidy. Carpet.
Cons: Coffee maker and noise proof rooms.
In terms of general cleanliness the room and bathroom was clean and tidy. The refrigerator was noisy but in working condition. The walls were very thing and you could pretty much here everything that the neighbor were watching on TV. I am a deep sleeper so it did not bother me. Was very tired, so slept well. People with sleep troubles (light sleepers) should stay away. However, the coffee maker was broken and probably 10 years old.

Changing seasons & an unorganized staff!!!

Posted Feb 15, 2015
Pros: The indoor pool & jacuzzi were great.
Cons: One person @ least, needs to be in charge. No one person a;pologized to us or other lodgers & a room ADJUSTMENT to charges should have been offered!!!
Location: Luckily you own all 4 close lodgings.W/o Yosemite Lodge a few miles away. we would have gone hungry! We were disappointed. Please respond.
They told us dinner was not being served in the restaurant section because it was still winter & not enough clientele. They told us the bar/lounge was sectioned off for dinner. We,along with several other hungry diners knocked on all closed doors of the lounge & the restaurant. Finally the cook appeared & said the bartender ran the register & he did not show up.The manager appeared & said he was sorry & that we would have to drive to the Yosemite Lodge for dinner & he offered no expected dinner coupons for the extra drive, since we knew they monopolozed all four local lodgings. We were also told that a continental breakfast would be available between 7am & 10am.I went to the breakfast room @ 7:20 am to find the door locked. As I walked away,a lady drove up & said isn't the key in the door to open the room.I said,"No".We entered together & found nothing on the counters. She told me she was sorry & to please come back in 15 mins.I came back in 20 mins & ate the expected continental breakfast.I awoke my grandson when I returned to the room & told him it is now 8am.& he better eat breakfast first & shower later. He returned saying the room was locked & he was directed to the restaurant in his PJ's.He returned to tell me the restaurant was charging money for breakfast.I returned to the continental room to find a man & woman sitting outside & I explained I just finished eating breakfast here & I insisted that they re-open & feed my grandson. They did.But I am not happy.
