Good Value, Family HotelPosted Feb 21, 2014
Cons: The hotel staff could pay a bit more attention to cleaning the room, such as cleaning off all the handles and light switches.
Location: This hotel sits on a small hill, right off the highway. Sometimes it is a bit difficult to pull onto the busy freeway.
We purchased a last-minute room from Hotels.com for only about $60. This was a good value. The room was clean enough: the linens were perfectly clean, the larger-than-expected in-room fridge could use some extra cleaning, the bathroom floor, toilet, tub and sink were clean, and the carpet was clean. The decor is dated, but clean. The staff was friendly, and the site was quiet. The hotel staff could pay a bit more attention to cleaning the room, such as cleaning off all the handles and light switches. They were noticeably sticky and dirty. I actually used baby wipes to clean them off myself. This quality of this hotel reminded me of a youth hostel: not bad, but not luxury.

Stayed here to travel back & forth to Yosemite.Posted Feb 17, 2014
The hotel's price was perfect. The drive to Yosemite was worth the savings in lodging. We went in February and enjoyed every minute. The staff was so helpful and honest. We had a pet room, which are usually lower quality but I was so impressed. The night previous we payed double in other town for a lower quality room.

A little disappointingPosted Feb 10, 2014
Cons: Breakfast, TV programming, bed linen inadequate
Location: Close by Raitown and Gold rush historical sites.
Staff were very nice; room was small but clean; tiny bathroom. Free breakfast was very poor; no seating and a very bad odor there in the reception area where it was served. Would likely not book there unless it was a last resort. Limited TV choices Bed had only two sheets and had to request extra blankets

SO DISSAPPOINTED 2. ALSO CONTINTENTAL BREAKFAST WAS OVER AT 9? SAD... 3.COFFEE WAS DISSAPOINTING TOO, NOT ENOUGH COFFEE FILTERS AND STUFF TO GO WITH IT WAS MISSING...UGH!!
